Such a beautiful gem. The ending was a bit rushed imo, but everything else was really good that I can overlook it. I cried a couple times watching it.

The power of constructive criticism! This damage control special won't be this good if the critics were not vocal about the jarring flaws in the main series. I hope the fanatics will stop dismissing the critics and admit the flaws and mediocre quality of 2gether, and the critics will be objective and compliment the improvements in Still2gether even if it's just a special with no solid plot

Right. The first two episodes are just messy. A huge downgrade from the first season.

I didn't see any fanservice at all. Can you tell us which parts were fan service?
Eh I think you are underestimating the genre. Some BL series such as UWMA, Trapped, and even TT have good plot with good amount of fanservice (putting their flaws or problematic tropes aside). Yes, fanservjce is what makes BL unique and I do love fanservice myself. But my criticism is sometimes, the fanservice overshadows the story and that's unfortunate. If you prefer more fanservice then good for you. It doesn't mean my criticism is invalid and I should just "go somewhere else".

And that's why I don't really like TT and TWM too lol. But you're right. 2g and Still 2g are just simple fluff that are targeted to young audience, but unfortunately that's also why it doesn't win my heart.

I'm just making an observation as someone who enjoys drama. Some might feel that it is unfair to compare Still 2g (and 2g) with well-written drama that rely more on the strong plot and acting chop of the actors--and that's ok. If the others love the series, then more power to them. But I guess it's not for me and I will have to drop it.

You might have different definition of fanservice but those scenes where Wat is joining Tine to do the cheerleading move, for instance, is a fanservice. Their interactions at home are also fanservice that were made to address the criticism towards 2gether. Fanservice is fine, of course, but I wish they will also balance it out with a more developed story.

Also, if you're used to fanservice and strong chemistry from MaxTul or MewGulf, for example, then of course you won't see these as a fanservice. But you gotta remember that this is a show for teens, so of course their fanservice is very watered down and juvenile.

Why are so many people are complaining about no kissing scenes already when it's only ep 1? Chill lmao. I don't…
1) they've been sleeping on the same bed for a year and Tine is still surprised looking at Wat's naked body? Are we sure that they're in a homoSEXUAL relationship and not just in a bromance? 2) The Untamed and Where Your Eyes Linger served amazing chemistry even with the lack of kiss and/or physical touch. I don't need a kiss, but I know a great chemistry when I see one, and this couple still hasn't served that.

It's a cute lil fluffy thing tho so I guess it serves its purpose as a show for teens. But it's clear Bright and Win are not cut out for BL drama

The storyline was.......really basic, but then again it's targeted for teenagers so we cannot expect top tier plot. It's also full of fanservices to the extent that it overshadowed the story. Kinda feels like watching those daily vlogs from a YouTube couple.

I noticed the editing has improved a lot though. Probably because of the new director.

Perhaps Filipino-style drama just doesn't click with me but I cringed a lot that I had to drop it. It's unfortunate 'cause the story seems well written but the delivery is too... cheesy? corny? I can't find the right word. But still, I'm happy that the Philippines is finally giving some serious competition against Thai BL machine. Best of luck!

I have never shed so much tears while watching a BL. Even Gun crying in Theory of Love didn't make me cry. All…
I agree! Gun is a really good actor but somehow his cry in ToL didn't move me at all. In fact, none of these BL dramas made me cry other than UWMA and HCTM. I cried probably once or twice during HCTM but UWMA made me cry so many times. Perhaps it's because of how the problems that KornIn/DeanPharm face are much more severe than ToL, but that's just my guess. Fluke embodies Pharm's innocence and hesitation in falling in love really well. It's just a really good drama that deserves all the praise
