Due to trauma,yifan feel inferior and afraid that her uncle will harm sang Yan,I can understand that part and it was not that long.I also think second couple and grandpa part was unnecessary.I think second lead is always a hindrance in Chinese dramas but Chinese audience like dramas with social messages,I think that's why they gave screentime to grandpa story.

Her father is dead,her mother abandoned her for new family and left her to the aunt house where her own uncle tried to rape her and despite all that her mother didn't care about her.she is alone and lost her confidence and feel inferior and deserves no happiness.sang Yan appears as a bright light in her life giving her love and happiness she deserves.keep watching you will understand it later.she will lighten up.

So,in your opinion playing a gay role will make his roles mature.I hate it whenever there are two male leads because people start speculating it as a gay drama.Look at a dictionary,you can find a term brotherhood,there is nothing wrong with two boys being friend.

You are one of a kind,Although I can accept that beginning was good but I cannot accept that ending was good especially season 2.

It is fine for newly introduced actors but it's a legendary actor leejongsuk drama who has given us masterpiece dramas like w,while you were sleeping,pinocchio,big mouth etc.fans expect more from him especially when he return to drama after long time.Almost all characters have same screentime and a repetitive setup( office and restaurant).First of all the cases they handle were not unique nor they showed us much of a romance between lead character.Their romance almost ended after ep 8.honestly it is a boring drama.This drama doesn't even deserve this rating .By the way I rated this drama 5/10, although for casting it is 10/10.

Maybe in the future.i have seen on twitter that her recent drama 'speed and love' is good but I haven't watched it.

I haven't watched FL 's other dramas but in this drama,it is too childish and irritating.i dropped it on 2nd episode so I have no idea about it's ending.

Very good drama.I would say it is best xukai's female centric drama.their chemistry is really good.it deserves more rating .in my opinion this drama is 8.4/10

ML 's character is strong.He became general and emperor see him as strong support but if you are talking about screentime I also agree with you.despite having more than 50 episodes they failed to properly represent the chemistry between ML and FL.From Political pov ,this drama is realistic and good but romantically it is a huge disappointment.If you are fan of actors,you many find it watchable because the time Ml and FL are together,they are cute and their chemistry is good but the problem is there are always a misunderstanding/ third wheels in between them.i liked the first 10 episodes and last few episodes.In the future I hope xukai and li yitong Collab for another project .They look good together.
