LET me tell yall about this. I came straight from watching A Splendid Match, Blossom and The Road to Splendor and the contrast here is insane. In those dramas you actually see men who respect, cherish, and truly love their furen they earn her heart through devotion and real care.
Then you have Lin Jinqi , who is just purely selfish. Watching him literally take her when she has absolutely ZERO feelings for him made my blood boil. He doesn't care about her boundaries, her choice or how she feels he just wants control over her. That’s not love THAT'S just entitlement and possession. A real man respects her heart but Lin Jinqi treats her like she’s just something he’s entitled to own. Comparing him to the male leads in those other dramas just makes his actions look a hundred times worse. 😡💢
