yeah cutting down more episodes won't make any sense because the misunderstanding between the two is big and complicated, I can't imagine how they'd be able to neatly clear everything up in just 20 episodes that would lead to unsatisfying and rush ending and character depth will be lost

the screenwriter for this drama announced that it will be a happy ending, and if you read the synopsis above it contained a spoiler it says they will reconcile again...also yuzheng spoiled before that there is a villain.
