When Sang Zhi was 14/17, DJX was just her crush and itās very normal to have one at that age. DJX also mentioned that he only started liking her when they met again later. Technically speaking once they grow older (ex. 22 and 27), the age gap wonāt be that visible anymore and most people didnāt put that in their consideration.
My point is that many viewers were still complaining about the age gap at the end of the drama and itās too overly emphasized (by both the fandom and the drama itself). If they met much later, nobody would be complaining.
