What exactly did the Hua family see in the Shen family that they remained friends for so many years? All of them give me the ick. Just weak and self-serving
Does anyone else get the feeling that the Aunt/Stepmother is/was intentionally making Shaoyao sick? Or am I thinking…
I want to believe that the step mom is good, but some little details are bothering me like the Mammy Hua Zhi mentioned. Couldn't that have been the stepmom?
Cause think about it look how the concubines interact and dress in the Hua family from a young girl's perspective she could've misunderstood.
Then, how concerned the stepmom was when Shaoyao left home to recuperate. It was more like she was concerned about Shaoyao being out of her control than worried about Shaoyao.
And look how Shaoyao seemed to be regaing her wits now that she's no longer taking the medicine or eating food from the Gu family.
Emperor and his Aunt and dad played a part in it or they knew but didn't stopped it.
I think the dad wanted to rebel, but since it failed, he pushed the blame on his wife and set her up. I also think that's why the sister is pretending to be mentally ill
I hate being swayed. Hopefully, the family isn't being temporarily apologetic.
Not even a full next episode does her family start acting up again. Love money but never want to do what is required to get money. I'm truly disappointed in Aunt Xia
4 episodes in, and I'm already irritated. I truly hate how disfunction and poor leadership skills always affect the ones who contribute the most.
I honestly pray that Hua Zhi disassociates from her family and establishes herself because they're all so selfish and self-serving, and it's honestly sickening.
I can't go through another storyline like The Autumn Ballad I rather something like Romance on the Farm or even something like The Sword and the Brocade would suffice.
If Hua Zhi has to sacrifice, make it worth it. I can't take her sacrificing for these fools. Always belly aching, crying, and ignoring her advice. Yet constantly watching her clean up everything but never mending their ways or pitching in.ππ
They are giving us the same pairings with good chemistry, but making one series end foolishly or incomplete. To "force" viewers to cone back, and I don't like that. Like you taking it too far now yh. π
Yh no. I truly can not stand incompetent useless leaders. The Divine Realm must fall it's gotten way past ridiculous…
They promised to gather and send their troops for support they have yet to do so. All they do is eat, drink, and send orders. They have learned nothing since the attack on their realm

However, the mom's death is too lowkey to be the Emperor he seems like the type to be open about his brutality

I got into short length dramas for the storyline, good relationships, and the fact they did what regular length dramas couldn't do. Now, not only are they following the EXACT same tired clichΓ© troupes as full-length dramas.
