anyone else get like a weird bgm music during the episodes that's sometimes unnaturally loud? I'm watching it on YT and it almost sounds like they're trying to cover up copyrighted music or the like because the sound doesn't always seem to match the mood of the scene. And any recommendations where to watch it that doesn't seem to have this effect?
Hey Xmag! You put my thoughts into words perfectly - also agree there's multiple interpretations. I like how FL…
100%! Would be so good to continue to follow the leads and their respective stories as a fanfic or via another medium. Also ngl feels like it'd be a pretty chaotic moment if our FLs even find dragon lady's reincarnated lover hahah
Offering food for thought: the way the director explained the ending (based on the bonus episode, when someone…
I love that symbolism! Really surprised by the layers of meaning each scene has - I looked over some earlier episodes again and it was so good to see the supporting characters doing their own things rather than just being wallflowers.
Also curious what the original ending was - here's hoping they release another special episode hahah
the drama became a little bit stale for me in the middle. can anyone spoil me what happened in the ending? maybe…
Depends on what you're after - ending is a little sappy but you really do see ML and second ML's devotion to their respective partners and how said devotion transcends time. Ending is also not necessarily sad - it's pretty open in the special ep but (I think) leaning towards first and second leads rediscovering different facets of each other.
For those who have seen the bonus episode, what do you think of it? For me, I guess it depends on my mood:- If…
Hey Xmag! You put my thoughts into words perfectly - also agree there's multiple interpretations. I like how FL keeps to her character by being maybe not so open to re-discovering ML's reincarnation as she's v. devoted to his past self.
I feel like the special ep does give some closure regardless of each interpretation. Both viewpoints express a possibility that all the leads may reconnect esp given the renting situation and how the FL ends by saying maybe every story has a different edition/ variation. Regardless it's good to see our FLs are mostly doing well trying their best to heal from their loss. Personally am rooting for FL and ML to reconnect even if FL doesn't seem ready rn. It just seems like a pity for them not to - even if ML doesn't have his memories and therefore isn't the same person, they've gone through so much + both their respective wishes seem to be to be with each other.
Also with longlong and her love - food for thought but I think the dragon lady might've, just our leads haven't found her yet. Technically reincarnated ML and SML would have been alive when their original selves had transmigrated, but just that FLs never met them. Since the dragon lady belongs to their timeline, it makes sense she has too tho idk about how love interest. Just to support this perspective - I think Babylonian version of FL got reincarnated too.
When both the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' are not restrained by moral and law, yet the good guys still find…
I totally agree about how naive Mei Bo + friends approached the situation but I'm glad the show was written that way. It really goes to show the average person doesn't spend too much time thinking about the law + emphases how manipulative the step father is.
Similarly, I thought the drama did a good job showing how frail our justice system really is and how easily it might be to accidentally convict the wrong person e.g both in Mei Bo's murder + the detective's assault case.
By what I understood, the intention is to honor the professionals fighting the virus, encourage, and such. You…
Just my two cents but while this particular disease did originate in China, it's unfair to assume the disease that has the potential to cause a global pandemic to equally arise in the country. No one has purposefully engineered COVID-19 and China's response to stopping the spread of the disease was actually quite impressive considering they didn't have much information to work with. In comparison, countries like the US doing far worse in stopping the spread especially considering we have a greater understanding of the virus now.
Also curious what the original ending was - here's hoping they release another special episode hahah
