Hey, Mamirabelle, I've got a question for you. What are your top three favourite dramas?

She really did do an outstanding job in coffee prince. I think Ha Ji Won did a pretty good job in secret garden.

Aside from a nasty cold, I'm good. lol you?
I'm currently watching Bride of the Century, Emergency couple, which I might drop. I'll watch another episode and we'll see. I've got two more episodes of My Love From Another Star. this weekend I watched a few Thai movies on youtube. Though, the third one might actually be considered a mini drama. it had three short episodes and a bitter sweet ending. Blegh. I don't like bitter sweet. I like happy! any way, what about you, what are you watching? How long you been watching Asian drama? do you just stick to one country or do you watch stuff from anywhere? and what made you friend me? :)

I'm glad you're enjoying. :) yeah, the editing was bad wasn't it... you know, I might give that one a try too. at some point. when you do look at the Thai version It'd be cool if you could give me a heads up weather it's good.

I agree making My Little Monster/Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun a drama. Even though the ending is kind of disappointing.
I haven't seen the anime. But, I was reading the manga. I don't think the manga is finished. probably why the ending was less than satisfactory. Again, I haven't seen it. you have, so, for all I know, it could just be your opinion.
personally, I kinda, hate it when they make an anime out of an ongoing manga. and then have to make up an ending. Because they've surpassed the manga. That was the case with Full Metal Alchemist. And, is the very reason why the movie Conqueror of Shamballa, exists.

from what I know of the story. It would be cool to see a live action for it.

Interesting picks. I've seen only two of these... DN Angel and Lucky Star. The later, I laughed so much watching it. It's a fun one. I agree, I'd like to see a live action version of Lucky Star. And, of course, it should be Japan. I loved Konata! she was awesome. lol. The Teacher was pretty funny too. The former, DN Angel, I think that Japan or Taiwan would be able to pull it off... Maybe. I can't really picture it.

What are your top three Korean and Japanese dramas? Genre doesn't matter. :)

My top three Korean dramas would probably be: You're Beautiful, Coffee Prince, and Secret Garden.
I've watched all three of these multiple times.
I checked out your lists and I noticed that you've seen You're beautiful, and Secret garden. And that you dropped Coffee prince...
So, here are some others I'd recommend: Reply 1994 (since you've also seen reply 1997. it was a good one, eh?), A Gentleman's Dignity, I hear your voice(the supernatural telepathic ability is different, and albeit played out in a cheesy way but this drama is fantastic!), and last but not least, Master's Sun.

When I was thinking and checking my lists for Japanese romcoms I realized I haven't watched too many. And don't have a top three. But, I'd recommend One Pound Gospel, Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo, and, this is not a romcom, but, Kimi wa Petto. Which I believe you've got in your tbw list. :) hope you check some of these out.

p/s: I've noticed that in the older romcoms, specifically Korean, such as full house, and my girl, and a few others that the annoying clichés and characters were to be found. they're not as common any more unless we're talking about Mothers, Aunts, and Mother-in-laws. they are in almost every Korean drama.
