Ah, good point! I suppose I'm used to them being able to be killed by being hit/shot in the head since I've watched a few other zombies shows/films. There were defiantly some moments that were ridiculous and didn't make sense..I think that's why I didn't enjoy it in parts. If the story was thought through more, it would of been a lot better.

I didn't mean to come across as rude, for that I apologise. I really don't want an argument over a comment but I'm sticking with what I said. I put a spoiler warning, so I'm not to blame if you carry on reading even after that.

Are we going to ignore the fact that I put that there were 'spoilers below' in caps? The top is spoiler free that's why I didn't want to spoiler tag the whole comment. I warned, so please don't complain if you read the spoilers.
It's the comment section, you have to expect spoilers.
I think I was expecting a lot more since the film has had a lot of good reviews but in my opinion it was very over-hyped. A good film but defiantly could of been better. I'm surprised the rating isn't lower to be honest.
[SPOILERS!. Please don't complain if you get spoiled by what I've written below since I did put a warning. I didn't tick the box because I wanted people to see the first part above]
I'm surprised this film wasn't tagged as a comedy since some parts seemed like one. The zombies being part of that. To me they seemed to be acted in a comedic way? If the zombies were different I think I would of enjoyed it slightly more. Some parts were very hard to believe but other big shows/films have made similar mistakes too. One being that considering the military had guns it's amazing that so many of them died. I didn't really find the film sad at all until the ending when the kid was singing. There was no way to connect with the characters since we knew nothing about them so their deaths weren't sad, even the dads (though his was slightly). To me the ending was predictable but I don't know what I was expecting. There were vibes that the dad was going to die from early on in the movie (for me anyway).
I would recommend watching The Flu though since it's a similar story and I find it to be a better film.
This 'review'/comment turned out to be longer than I expected so I'm going to stop here. I don't usually write anything but I feel like people are just praising the film for the sake of praising it. Or maybe I just have no emotions :'')
