I couldn't agree more! This was definitely one of those rare ones where them not staying together but advancing in their lives would be considered the happy ending

After watching this series, I am thoroughly convinced that Ohm def had a "no shirt" clause in his contract 🤣

I think this is definitely one of those dramas that you enjoy best the second time around. Once you know Jiang Chen's perspective, you end up seeing a lot of moments so differently. It just adds so much more to the story imo

I have yet to see a review that sums up my feelings towards this drama as well as this. Though I really could do without the side stories, the main couple are so worth the watch!

***POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED: I am really confused. Could someone please explain the ending to me?

Jang I-jun has got to be the most adorable child I have seen in any drama.

Will say I did love the journey between Hayame and Issei! However, would have enjoyed a bit more if they had officially gotten together after a time jump. Normally, I hate when there is an unnecessary time skip to add angst to the plot. But it was DEFINITELY needed here.

Despite the ending, I have to say Shin Hye Sun deserves every award for her performance. She was absolutely phenomenal!

Okay, this isn't a hate post toward the drama, but some observations I noticed. As a BIG fan of the C-drama, it is REALLY hard to not make connections back and forth between the two versions. With that said, I think the drama is trying to do its best with the little time it has. However, I'd wish the actors would try grasping at the character with their own interpretations rather than trying to grasp what the previous actors have done, especially the FL. Like at many parts, it feels like she is trying to play Shen Yue rather than Shin Sol Si, which causes it to come across as just a bad imitation rather than the actor's own ability. I hope it gets better from here and the actors find their own footing with the characters they are playing.

Okay, I was with the story in almost to the end, but what the hell kind of end was that? Like how are you going to accuse each other of cheating and then legit 5 MINUTES LATER act like nothing happened??
