Mad For Each Other was so deftly directed, what a great show! I also really enjoyed the way the ensemble interacted in Age of Youth. I hope we can see more from this director!

I hope Ah Kyeong can create many more amazing shows like Mad For Each Other! The show has one of the tightest screenplays ever, with amazingly layered, mature depth that impressed me so much. It stands out as one of the best shows of 2021.

Absolutely. This just didn't deliver. They should have focused on just Bok Joo and Joon Hyung with a few actual challenges (e.g. sick dad, abandoned kid, self acceptance) and ACTUALLY showed what it's like to train, win, and lose as an athlete! What a waste of the premise when the athlete's life was pushed to the back seat.

I agree. I wonder if some people are focusing only on the delight in the idea of the show and their feelings about the concept rather than examining whether it actually delivers. I did appreciate Kim Kwan as the bully, though. Despite the weakness in everything about the show, he had a special spark.

I agree with you on this 100%. Geu Ru's character is just exploited to further other people's learning. And everything is too smooth and predictable.

He has such energy and spark. Loved his performance in Prison Playbook and Pinocchio!
