Great acting but what about the plot...
The story... not much, maybe even terrible.
I tried really hard to like it and understand what was going on, but to no avail.
First the pros of the project: i must say that you can see that Boss and Noeul have taken their acting to a higher lvl. Even though their chemistry was a bit better in Love in the air it doesn't affect my opinion that they did a good job. That was the only thing that was convincing to me out of the whole series.
And now the major stumbling block, the plot:
The idea of parallel worlds could have been great. The scenes with clips from other worlds were very engaging and refreshing but that was like 10% of the series. Pity. I'm unfortunate that the character became a suicidal stalker as a result. Maybe it would all make some sense if they left out the fantasy elements altogether. Like, Cirrus pretending to be from another world, but it wasn't really true and I would have closed it there. Nothing about him actually being able to see those other worlds or Jin hearing the thoughts of others. I'm afraid that wasn't crucial to the plot. Just an extra element for no reason.
The music sometimes worked sometimes it didn't. The opening I have to say was beautiful. I play the song all the time. It was composed very well! But it really works as an opening???? I'm not so sure anymore. I'd definitely shorten it a bit, because then it feels more like a music video than a theme song for a show. That hurt it a lot in my opinion. Otherwise, the OST was average for me. Sometimes it didn't fit at all BUT sometimes they did underline the mood. It was like a seesaw.
So to wrap things up. I don't really know how to rate the series, because if I give it a bad rating, it will hurt the effort of the actors, which was really clear to see, but the plot was too..strange for me to give it a 7 with a clear conscience.
