This is very refreshing for me to see a jp BL drama that has a lawyer as main character (Ryoma), & the story revolves mostly in the courtroom, together with his lover (Haruto) who helps him solve the cases (secretly between them two). The episodes got funny, fluffy romantic, & serious parts too! I hope there would be a second season where they will handle more seriously deep cases, including the case against Haruto's father. And ofc i wanna see more of them together officially as a couple, and also maybe Haruto becomes a lawyer finally working together with Ryoma. <3

they should just show this already so we can all move on fast

I was searching for similar drama like Killer and Healer and tried this out, surprisingly this was worth watching! Its more lighter than Killer and Healer but had that similar feel, the male couple like each other too and clearly showed it. And it has a happy ending so its good.

I was hesitant to watch this at first bec i was looking for something similar to bl costume drama Word of Honor. Eventho this drama doesn't have any kiss scene (like all bl cdramas) but when the male couple touch or look at each other there's something much more deeper, their devotion to each other is endless, and it can be felt onscreen - it made me keep re-watching.
And this having an alternate happy ending, eventho it's just edited and mashed up vid from prev scenes, is still a happy ending to me so all is good. The actors did very well and the story is well done too. This is the best bl drama for me.
