This was like a fever dream and not a good one. What do you mean that child of Satan outed them to the mom, took 0 responsibility and acted like nothing happened till the end? There were also many pointless scenes and plot lines that could’ve just not been included or drastically shortened. What was the reason of the scene with the homeless choosing between some bread and a lottery ticket? Ok, social commentary, I get that. But beside that it was pointless for the plot line, except it seemingly gave the main character some time to catch up with them. There were so many characters, each with their own plot line and story, that none of them had the time and space to properly develop.

They started a lot of long-run plot lines, introduced us to many characters’ back stories and then cut it in the middle. The end of season one felt like a cliffhanger, like an ending with a cliffhanger. This was just too abrupt. The police group found nothing, did nothing, the only progress they made was that they found a door and that we found out the captain is working for the other side (which we could expect from like ep 2). But on the other hand, I really liked the casting and all the different stories and povs we got to explore. The games were also fine, just wish we’d spent less time talking and planning and repeating everything we already know. It feels like the creators were relying on few shocking moments and reveals more than the actual plot. It’s still a 7 for me, I’m just not sure I’ll be waiting for season three.

My theory is all of the members were really close and the four of them still are. But the company probably realized Thame’s solo debut in Korea would broaden the fanbase and make them more money. I’m guessing Thame agreed to this thinking it would be a chance to make more people aware of MARS. The members certainly felt hurt and thought it was Thame being selfish, trying to get famous, using the group. By the time Thame realized it would mean disbandment for the group, their relationship was already broken. And why would you want to explain yourself to someone who has already made their mind about you and hate you (i’m sure the don’t hate him, they’re just hurt), right? He probably thought it would be better for everyone to let them think it was his selfishness destroying the group and let them make peace with it, rather than trying to convince them it was not his decision. I’m still not sure why he couldn’t just say no, but I guess we’ll find out.
Please mind this is just my theory after one episode. I’m not even sure it makes sense XD I’m just trying to make sense of it in my head and I need to talk to someone about it (even just a little screen lol)
For those who misunderstood: It’s not "you’re the one I want get to know the most (because I’m in love with you already)” but more of "you’re the one I want get to know the most (because I want to learn about why do people leave people, what’s your motivation. And because I want to make this documentary so you can explain and show your members you still love and care about them)"

I was hesitant at first as it felt SO similar to Manner of Death. Coming back to a small town, one of the leads a doctor, only this time the doctor is the suspect, not the suspector. But I realized very quickly it’s just the director’s signature and it finally started to feel as it’s own thing. 3 episodes in and I’m obsessed. The characters are fun, have great chemistry and the story deals with topics that are not that common in BLs (e.g. palliative care, euthanasia). So far so good and I hope they keep the quality till the end.
Binged all 4 episodes today and I can’t get enough. I’m usually not one to go for overly sweet shows with a plot we’ve all seen 20 times over, but this is exactly what I need right now. The main leeds are in perfect balance and everything is so cute, cheesy and positive, it’s like the first sunny spring day after a long gloomy winter.
