Absolutely agree!! I feel like Silent Evidence was fine because it wasn't trying to be an imitation of the first one like Survivor was (which sadly just made it not good). I haven't watched Scavenger either...wonder if it's worth it haha.

technically a standalone, all the series have the same main character but isolated plot, so you're fine not watching any of the previous ones.
they're based off a series of novels; it's pretty typical for chinese dramas where actors don't return for sequels. However, I do highly recommend the 2016 one and the first season, imo it has the best actors and the most likable characters :D

Did not expect to fall in love with Charm Ltd Group with Da Zhang Wei + Silence Wang, they were always a delight to watch, so funny and they had really creative performances!!!!
I truly enjoyed all the singers and pairings this season, thank you to Our Song 3, everyone's a winner this season! :)
