Missing your work Yang Yang. I have watched and then rewatched your shows now I want to please see something new. Hoping to see you again with Dilraba, your best on-screen counterpart
Ok, so, a couple of thoughts, and really, just me venting my anger and sadness out...First of all, this show had…
Aah I loved the tone of your anger. It clearly depicts how much in love you were with the show and how frustrated it made you. I too went through the same sentiments and somehow still want a second season to stitch back my ripped heart.
Every time I watch an episode, it makes me feel like I am on a soothing boat ride with turquoise water surrounding me. No strong waves, just a light breeze accompanied by nature’s beautiful water life. I am used to shows that start with a bang and go downhill, This show has the same momentum in all the episodes. In this day and age of cool effects, shock value and cliffhangers, this one is a welcoming experience with serene tranquility. Who would have known a youth drama would have such an effect. I think I need to check out the writer and director and see if they have other hidden gems.
Tbf to the leads, production seems to have deliberately cut the shots with a lot of tension. Most of the early…
Agreed they tried to pick the harder route of relationship development but sadly the show failed to show the elements. The direction and the story lacked all elements and on top actors had zero chemistry. It became a long waste of time. Again sad situation as the actors didn't deserve this mess
Sadly I had to drop it. The ML is a great actor but the story went downhill after the middle episodes. The romance became quite boring and had a sibling or a friendly tone to it rather than a passionate love full of connection/ chemistry. The leads weren’t paired well at all.
I kept on waiting for the last episode till I realized what I watched a week ago was the last episode. What a pathetic last episode. The entire show was dedicated to the side sister character. Neither her character nor the actress was impressive enough to have the whole show after her. Wow, what a waste of cast and our time.
