Wow, You had a great start for Kdramas. But, now I think it will be hard to find dramas that will top those ones.…
You’re so right. It’s hard to find more shows with vibes like these. I do enjoy watching other style kdramas (e.g. I loved “Crash Landing on You” for the portrayal of communism) but often enough those romcom style shows get boring and superficial sometime after episode 8 ?‍♀️

As for “When the weather is fine” - it’s one of those love-it-or-hate-it acquired taste kind of shows. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the emotions in the show but I know a lot of people find it too slow. I’m a sucker for the suffer-in-silence male characters (Im Eun Seob in “When the weather is fine”, Lee Kang Doo in “Just between lovers”, Baek In Ho in “Cheese in trap”) and I’ll watch anything with Seo Kang Joon or Jung Hae In.

That’s why I was really excited for “A piece of your mind” but ended up with mixed feelings about that show - loved parts of it (omg those winter shots of “Norway” ?) but fast forwarded through some (i found the character of Kim Ji Soo really annoying).
I guess “When the weather is fine” and “A piece of your mind” is where we agree to disagree ?

Love this list. Those are my favourite kind of dramas to watch and the reason I got into kdramas in the first place. "One spring night" and "Something in the rain" were the first Korean dramas that I’ve ever seen. I found them so refreshingly normal - people in their 30s holding hands in the park, eating ramyun in silence…No exaggeration, no magic, no unrealistic scenarios - just life and raw emotions <3

The top of my list would probably look more like this:

1. When the weather is fine
2. Just between lovers
3. Something in the rain
4. One spring night

Haven’t seen "Secret love affair" so adding it immediately as the next one to watch!
