This could have been a great movie if they didn't lay out everything in the open just to cater to the dvm dvm viewers. What's the point of creating a thriller/mystery if there's none left to make it exciting. You're just waiting for the police to catch him.. that's it.... zzzzz
An adult PG13 romance and totally made for the typical Korean audience. No wonder they like it. I say, its not the best story. They keep dragging it on but everything is so predictable and typical.
This don't just happen in South Korea. It happens around the world.
There are other extreme cases that has happened in the past, not just in SK. Other countries have its own tragic and disturbing stories. It just so happens that this one became a film. Others are told through crime stories while others will remain buried. Some families will choose to protect their children and move on.
Season 2 is far better than Season 1. Love the unexpected turn out for Jeong Woo, but I also am hoping for the best for Nadine and Jinyoung. Those two are the epitome of progressive modern Korean. What excites me most is knowing he had somehow asked her mom's permission. Meaning, Jinyoung is willing to wait for Nadine.
Ahh! I wish Jinyoung will get to visit her in the US and join him at the shooting range. Who knows, he might join the army once again. Jinyoung a soldier and Nadine, a doctor. I hope its going to be happily ever after... Descendants of the Sun.
The cinematography reminds me of Sin-City. But unlike Sin-city, the movie is lighthearted. Somewhat feels like a PG-13 - if they omitted the gun fight and violence. Good movie to watch thou. If I need a non-heavy movie that can fill up my dopamine to 100%, this will be it.
From all the Korean films I've watch over the years, Signal was one of the best written works and amazing screenplay ever-made when it came out in 2016. It was a step-up in the kdrama scene. It was refreshing and inspiring.
I watch this almost every year since there are times my kdrama satisfaction aren't always filled by new kdramas releases. And good god! If we won't ever get a season 2, please write another amazing story.
The sci-fi element of this drama reminds me of Frequency, a classic American film released in 2000.
When you found a glimmer of happiness in your life but taken away from you in a blink of an eye. I've seen this many times and still is as powerful and sad from the day I watch it.
I love this reality show. Both group has so much potential but I dislike both the fandom for ruining the future of both groups. They even try to ruin their friendship because of their toxic fights. They are the reason why lots of people turn their back on both. I couldn't even hide my distaste for the annoying fans after so many years. They still remain immature and toxic.
Anyway, the female lead reminds me of Juri Ueno.

Hoping I can re-watch it again soon.
