First episode was really fun, but I CAN NOT get over their monthly rent for an entire house only being like £220/$303… Like damn… Guess I need to start looking for a haunted house (especially if the ghosts are handsome)
Incase anyone was in the same boat as me (recently finishing Word of Honor and desperate for more of Gong Jun) - YES I can safely say this is worth sitting through. It might not be making many people's top ten lists, but Gong Jun is in it, and he is gorgeous, and frequently shirtless, and that managed to be enough for me.
If ur really into BL and not lowkey like CQL and SHL, I do recommend HIStory, a Taiwanese anthology drama series…
Amen!! That could be so fun!! Reminds me of a manga that I’m totally forgetting the name of, about a guy who leaves the Yakuza to become a househusband. A BL version of that would be A+++ material, especially with those two!!!!

Loved Trapped so much T______T I watched the whole thing in one night, literally couldn't stop watching. Main couple were amazing, totally agree the whole mafia/cop thing is a classic, but OOOH BOY Jack was something else!!! He's so fine how is anybody supposed to focus on the plot??

Oooooh I haven't seen Right or Wrong... <_< >_> Will add that to my list!!
I saw Close To You, really liked that one too! (muren and licheng were SO CUTE). I'm a big big fan of BL but had no idea that China had anything similar until a few months ago when I started watching Untamed and basically inhaled the entire show as fast as I could, never really been interested in historical-style dramas before but now I just want more and more of them!!!
I'm super new to Chinese dramas, just watched The Untamed and half way through Word of Honor, both of which I am totally head over heels about!! Does anyone have any recommendations for similar shows while I desperately wait for this one to get updates..? T___T
How am I only just finding out about this series???
I saw a youtube video of BLs that are airing atm and was like "OH?? ISN'T THAT GUY FROM NANIWA DANSHI??", 8 episodes later and I'm totally hooked!! So cute!!!! Ida is so sweet and considerate and Aoki is ADORABLE.
Cherry Magic ended up being my favourite BL of 2020, and it looks like Japan is going to sweep in and take the crown again for 2021!! 11 and a half days until the next episode... Sigh...
Honestly I’m kind of loving this so far… Does anyone have recommendations for other BL with a similar-ish bodyguard situation?? (already watched and adored History 3: Trapped)
The amount of times I rolled my eyes when Yoohan would start rattling off long lists of colours, like there’s no way this random teen boy would know all of them!! And then to be suddenly hit with the realisation that he only memorised them so he could teach Yeonwoo...... I SOBBED T_T
Super happy with the lighter tone the final episode had, I was so worried this was going to end really sadly
Just seen the trailer!!! I know most of the episodes will air in 2021 but idc I feel like this will still be the best BL of 2020 (not that there’s much competition T_T)
bbby14 gave you the real answer. The easier answer is: don't worry about it and just start from episode 7. haha…
true!! the first six eps totally aren’t 100% necessary unless you’re a diehard completionist or just really want to see Ae be miserable for some reason
Can someone EXPLAIN to me the timeline in first episode with relating to the first installment which is Love By…
the writer decided to give TinCan’s relationship a do-over, but everyone else's timeline went on as normal, so episode 1 is set a little while after the finale of season 1 for everyone EXCEPT TinCan who only just met in this timeline. sorry if this doesn't make that much sense, they made things so strangely complicated this time
