Can anyone recommend a 2023 BL with good eyecandy? Only thing I’ve really watched this year was season 2 of Utsukushii Kare, nothing else has caught my eye so far 💔

Legally it’s rape because legally drunk people can’t consent, so I don’t think the people calling it rape are wrong. There is a lot of fuzzy grey-area that gets added by the context of the characters, so I get why people might not understand each other’s opinions. But if we look at the facts, 1. Drunk people can’t legally consent. 2. Uea had repeatedly turned King down while sober. 3. If Uea would not have given consent while sober, and King knew that, he should have known to not take his incredibly drunk begging as consent. Hopefully that clears up why people are disappointed?? Like I see where you’re coming from and BLs use this “grey area” thing a lot, but if you look at the facts then it’s rape.

1000%!!! I was watching at 2x speed and still couldn’t resist skimming through, it was so bland… You’d think with it being their wedding night they’d be more into it?? They literally had more passion when they were making out in the kitchen in season 1 after Lian kicked off about Kuea’s terrible knife skills 🥲

Although, one positive - Nunew sounds so cute and natural speaking English!! There’s been a lot of awkward forced English lines in BL over the years, but his little phone conversation was really nicely done!

Is it just me or does the editing make it feel like EVERYTHING was taking so long this episode? Like in part 2 we spend 12 seconds just watching everyone in a room silently stand up and start walking to another room… Why??

Amen!!!! Weirdest thing to me is the people like that who watch BL and somehow decide that it’s serious meaningful lgbtqia+ art. Like???? If they watched some actual queer media maybe they’d stop getting so angry at everyone having a fun time making jokes about wattpad-fanfic-esque fluff like this. OR admit that they’re only interested in shows where hot people (gay or not) make out. Both valid options, neither involving the weird preachy high-horse attitude.
