I'm so disappointed with the low rating here, honestly some really really good storytelling here, much better than a lot of the more popular stuff and has the potential to move viewers. Much respect for walking the fine line of being just real enough to convince you that reality isn't nearly as bad. This is my favourite genre.
I am a binger on holiday, and not when I have work. I think a big pro for me while binging is the fact that for those whatever 6 hours I get to entirely live and immerse myself in the drama. Its almost like taking a break from my own life and living the main lead's life for a bit. I think its a great mini escape if you're feeling bad or desperately need a break but can't physically get out.
I highkey don't understand what right the husband has to keep checking if his wife is being loyal or is cheating because they're basically housemates...its annoying me
Okay don't get me wrong, I'm super into this and all... But I'm getting so much stress every time something is about to happen or might happen. I'm about to finish ep 8, and I don't think I've ever had to go through so much stress while watching a kdrama. I'm invested to the point where I need this to go well and I can't even bear knowing that a conflict is coming. I know its coming its how stories work but I don't even know if I can watch through that. These two souls are so pure and are just looking for a companion to put it very simply, and I can't see them go through any more hardship than they have already faced.
Am I the only one who got annoyed by the OST? The one that goes "its pulling me underrrr"... I kinda hate it and it just sounds immature to me. It doesn't sound as serious as it was intended to at least to me and totally puts me off.
I'm the same age as the FL in Itaewon Class, and the only reason I finished the drama was bc I was hoping she didn't end up with a 30 y/o man at the end. I was so uncomfortable the entire time and kept asking around about how people would realistically feel if a girl my age suddenly dropped her education and her entire life only for an ex-convict who is a whole lot older than her and run a business with him when she never formally learnt any business anyway. I was very uncomfortable with any and all kissing that happened and how she also got in the way of the ML and his personal life as if she had some right to. And even as she did so, she was glorified and seen as headstrong and respectable. This was such a no no to me. I can't imagine a girl barely out of highschool trying to control and be deeply involved in the life of an older man she barely met once and is now suddenly oh-so-in-love and magically has all the abilities the ML requires to sustain his business. Thanks for voicing it because I seriously thought something was wrong with either me or the entire fandom for looking upto such rash, impulsive, immature and frankly dangerous behaviour from a young woman(or should I say girl?) with the ability to influence other young people out there. Your good deeds can't undo you bad ones.
