Ugh. Right in the heart at the end of Episode 2. WHY?! I am having trouble watching the rest of this because I cannot get past what happened to Byunghee. I was so into him. I'm gonna finish it though, because I love the friendship bond between the guys of Eye Candy and the music is really good. I kind of wish the lead actress and the whole romantic arc had been left out entirely. It kind of ruined the flow for me and her acting was only so-so.
Unless it absolutely fits into the plot (and sometimes it does), the amnesia trope has become a deal-breaker for me. I just can't anymore. It's so tired.
IDK why, but "amnesia face" made me laugh out loud. (⌒▽⌒)
I normally have a 3 episode rule before I give up on a drama but I don't think I can hang in with this one. Hyun Bin is such a fine actor; super talented, and usually a lot of fun to watch. I was really happy about the prospect of seeing him in a drama again, and he is as handsome and charismatic as ever, but I would love to know what made him choose this script. It's a mess. Dropping.
I don't hit my children. Ever. They're human beings with feelings and if we have a conflict, we talk about it. I have, at times, been disturbed by the violence I've seen in dramas, particularly toward women and children, but I have to assume that at least some of it is exaggerated for the sake of "entertainment." I wouldn't want someone who watches American drama/TV to believe that we all live like that, so I try to keep that in mind when I'm watching dramas from other countries.
