When people know how something was shot they loose interest and stop writing nonsense. If they know that it's not their favourite/hated actor naked there's no point to skip entire drama just to see short love scenes and then say how everything was terrible.

If it was made without body doubles there would be articles about it already praising famous actors for being brave and they would talk about it, and they only talk about the relationships between the characters. I haven't seen any articles about sex scenes.

I wish the ending credits were in English, I'm curious how many body doubles and CGI they used, maybe people will calm down and stop overreacting. If they show anything in the behind the scenes videos I will be surprised. It's not the main selling point, the actors and their performances are.

This version actually changed some things and tonned down/removed some of the controversial things, like Kwon In Ho becoming Lady Cho's lover and So Ok getting pregnant from Cho Won

The negative reactions is why we will never be free from dead fish kisses in kdramas. It's harmless and make you feel nothing.

People complaining about explicit letters and dialogues. It's all true to the novel. I love that they showed a lot of letter writings.

What porn? There's a montage of him with different women, one sex scene with Nana that mostly shows close-ups of their faces, some artistic shots of them lying naked and two very light kisses (Nana/JCW and Chani/Shin Youn Ha) in the whole drama. It's more tame than it should be.

Who knows the name of the actress that plays Nana's mother in law? She has great presence!

I'm glad that Kwon In Ho and Lee So Ok given fair amount of screen time here, more than Cecile and Danceny usually get in other adaptations. I would love to see more of them, they both were one of the best parts of this show for me.

Han Sun Hwa was great and beautiful. There are many memorable supporting characters here, I wish we knew the actors names.

The sex scene, or love scene with Cho Won and Hui Yeon in EP7 is tastefully done. It's slow, but not long, restrained and not awkward.

The way people die, or give birth, or have sex in real life also different from how they do it on screen. That's her interpretation and the director was there to stop her if her portrayal was wrong.

I think Joseon era is not suitable for this story, the original setting is the best, but it's better than the 2003 film.

I saw shipping edits about Lady Cho and Cho Won calling them tragic romance. They ruined innocent people's lives for fun. They are interesting characters, but I never felt sorry for them in the novel.
