Look at their interactions, it's a satire. We are not supposed to take any of it seriously. Nothing romantic is happening and people already say they are not going to watch it because of some romance tags.

In another drama the female character fell in love and stayed with the guy who abused her and made her suffer to the point she nearly wanted to end her life, and people say it's their favorite drama. The standards for what is creepy are so weird sometimes.
