I'm starting this drama right now. I hesitated to watch this for a long time because I'm not a fan of the leads. But after watching ZLH now in the best thing, I wanted to give this a chance.

Hmmmm.. I am excited about this drama but the first episode seems off. The setting looks like fake and the dialogue seems like unnatural..

I’m a fan of both leads and also her brother but I cannot pinpoint the problem.. or did I judge too early?

I think her mom just doesn't love the father anymore or wants a more stable life. I think the letter is not from her mother; it's just the reporter and media doing it. I guess we will know if her dad and the friend cop are involved in the next few episodes.
