Because of work and K-dramas, I don't watch many C-dramas, so I'm quite picky and the sad thing is I know there are a lot of good C-dramas which are not as high ratings as they should deserve on Douban.

Chinese people should know their language, culture and history better than international viewers. This drama has over 91K people rating on douban comparing to 365 viewers ratings here (more than 250 times). Larger sample sizes give more reliable results with greater precision in statistic.
This fantastic drama is 8.2 and that useless drama long balad is 8.6. Humans are weird kind. They look beauty…
It has 8.4 and the long ballad is 6.2 rating on Douban. I'd prefer Douban rating to watch Chinese dramas not to waste much time to watch many episodes and drop.

After watching ep22, I'm very impressed by the ML, he is very likable and an ideal character which is warm, kind, calm, and super intelligent while I'm getting bored of FL even she is sincere, naive, and very professional in her job. Maybe because of the acting or her face expression is always the same. By the way, I love this show.
ep32, has anyone noticed that a red box mysteriously disappeared at 30:25 ? i mean, how?? lol
It stores medicine/herbs to heal injuries and extend life for a half of a week. The great Chaman gives ZX in the very first of esp32. ZX uses it after pulling out his nails to live several days more.
I love both of the main leads, but ZX character is probably described greatly & better than KX in ep32. When KX falls off the cliff, ZX is not hesitant a second to jump down and die with KX.
After he is saved by YBY, he thinks of KX's lifetime plan, he wants to do it for KX, so he removes the nails to get his 100% martial arts. He is dying of it but he is willing to sacrifice, but he certainly suicides anyway if live without KX. ZX character is very deep, bold and faithful. I don't get why people are so frustrated about the writer displaying him ep32.
We all know WKX is not dead! I want to hear all of your theories of what happened to him!
1: WKX-ZCL-YBY use the faked death to put ZJ into a trap. 2: WKX-Lord 7-The great chaman want ZX push his nails out to save him. ZX must do it for his 100% martial arts to revenge and keep WKX's plan on. ZX thinks he will die in several days, but he will be saved and lose his martial arts.
Just finished watching ep25. This movie is getting better and better. I could not count how many times I cried from ep22-25, not only the scenes of ZX and WKX, but the sweet moments of CWN and Gu Xiang. They would not deserve to end in tragedy as they did in the novel.
Best part of the drama stopped at e11. Finished e15 and I'm getting so bored because nothing added on the story & only about the love triangle. The FL acts the same as she was 15 years old again.
I knew this drama was a mess for the longest time, but eps 21-22 really hit the rock bottom. It's like the writer…
I realize the story was a total mess after episode 4, but it's getting worse by episode. The writer is such a rookie to make a stupid , confusing story and create unlikeable characters. I feel sorry for the cast, especially the three main leads.

I think its rating is OK. This is the first time JTBC airs a drama on Wed & Thu at 9:30 pm, while SBS, KBS, MBC run at 9. It is on cable TV, also airs on Netflix.
