while watching this drama I think some lines and scenes are so cliche, but then something happens and a total surprise! I really like the leads, Park Seo Joon looks like a flawless person ideed, Park Min Young is one of my favorite actresses ever, she is perfect in every role. But omg Chansung and the friend's secretary are the best! everytime they are in the screen I almost die from laughing!!! I think sometimes the storyline is confusing and not really a perfect drama, but sure made me curious to wacth 8 eps on my first vacation day
Of course I notice product placement and expensive clothes but the tv shows in my country are the same (I'm not asian), sooooo I guess this is just the industry and we have to accept... I think some dramas they even use the same clothes more than once and that shocked me because in my country's soap opera that would never happen even if you are the poarest person on the show. What really bothers me is they leave lights on and sleep with the clothes like jeans and jackets lol I dont get this. It's not much of wardrobe to get some pijamas lol Also the way they treat women overwall, inside family enviroment and aslo workplace... it is really terrible in korea but in a lot of other countries too. In dramas a lot of times we see some of these behaviours as something that should be romantic, but actually it is really abusive, as the wrist grab. Also, why the girl is always a crybaby and dumb while the guy is a genius? But I think some dramas these days are breaking some of these... some taboo topics are being discussed, I think we are seeing a new kind of male leads, not usual playboys, but the "nice boy" (so nice that almost unrealistic) is trending... also some kisses scenes are better too... I think there are still a lot of silly dramas, but I've seen some serious ones out there, so I think the industry is changing... but of course it is still very slow... I've never notice #1, will make sure to give it a try next time... the last one was so funny lol I notice that just now on the last drama I saw, they sure do this a lot!! I also HATE flashbacks...
I really liked at the beggining. but then it turn out to be frustrating. I liked how they talked about workplace harressment situation... but why they didnt show how she won the case? it was just very implicit at the elevator scene with the former boss (this is what I understood).... Also, I loved and also hated Jin Ah. Why she had so much to be a good daughter? she clearly wasnt happy living that way. I thiink it was because of her mother abusive behaviour towards her. Jun Hui was a precious-supporting-boyfriend main role which is difficult to find but becoming a trend this days...The best character for me, but he was willing to do everything for her.... so it became too easy. She had him. Even when he was mistreated terrebly by her mother he didnt even shake. WHY? Please love yourself too. That made me really sad. I didnt even want to talk about the mother because I hated her so much. She was abusive, self centered, and just about status when their family wasnt even rich, so wtf? I saw Jin Ah became broken in this drama as her relationship was reuined and the ,mother still said she "didnt heva anything to do with that", until the end she was rotten. I liked the father sometimes, but he was too submissive. Even Jun Hui father who left his family and married 3 times stood up for his son when needed. Sorry but the perfect family is shamefull. Well I loved the manager Bo Ra, wish her role was more meaningful. because the actress is really good! Well, at some point around ep 11 I think I didnt understand why Jin Ah started to hide things like, she wanted to stay in korea and not go to US, she could say that openly, why she moved in secret?????? that didnt make any sense for me because everyone would find out... and then I was pissed of with the end. nothing was solved. I wanted the family to accept Jun Hui, or I wanted her to say "I would do whatever I like". She kind did the second but not brave enough. It was like they run to Jeju and lived happily ever after. Dissapointg for me. Overwall a nice mature drama, not love triangle and rich playboy... but could've been way better :(
My theory is that Ji An did that on purpose to show the guy who tailed Dong Hoon that they don't have a romantic…
There is some tension between them... she likes him but I think could be adoration, gratitude, but maybe because he is one of the only people who treat her with respect? On the other side, I think he feels too guilty to like her, on ep11 what he said about his wife cheating... I think he could never have a romantic feeling towards her because he feels it is too wrong on his marriage. I think he do cares about her, but I can't see how this can become a romantic love. Maybe if now he divorce his wife? But idk, I don't feel this coming. But in ep11 we could see Dong Hoon kind of "exploding", with the CEO, also his wife and even when he confronted Ji An about the slippers. I think he maybe will stop living for others and start thinking about himself first... maybe then he could change the way he sees Ji An...
I almost died from laughing from this week's episodes!!! Jun Ki and Seo Jin suitcase situation, Soo Ah and Doo Shik with the smeeling feet guy... I was dying... I think I never find a drama this funny before... I like Dong Gu character because he is kind hearted but at the same we can think he is annoying because he is a exagerated version of flaws that we all have... he is clumsy, jealous, childish, has a huge pride about a lot of things, almost everytime he is unlucky lol but his reactions are like 1000x worst than a normal person, so I end up laughing at him because I always think "How can a person be this crazy?" he seriously needs to chill lol I used to hate Soo Ah at the beggining but omg I love her now! She is so funny! She and Du Shik are great together! And please I love the baby! Sol is so cute! I wish she had a lot more scenes! I watched the special episode because I was curious about how they film the scenes with the baby (how they make she laugh or cry) but they didn't show any :(
I watch sometimes Hyori Bread and Breakfast and it is really good!! Also I like Outrageous roommates and I live Alone. I also watch Knowing Bros when someone I like is in the show... some of them are really great
This drama was not the usual but very interesting. I wasnt expecting that ending at all, it surprised me how the actress changed so much lol I felt should be a little closure with the other writer but not sure what should've happened...
I like it so far (ep 13) but I think male lead is miscast, too old to play the immature chaebol son, and not so…
I felt this way sometimes... he could be younger or have a more mature attitude. I think he was very mature and supportive towards her illness but he was always talking about taking care of her but with his fathers' money. I'm glad at the end he got something aside of that...
I thought this would be a very depressing drama judging by the plot, but it isn't. Of course the story is sad and is a melodrama, but I think it is the kind of that gives hope. The kid is so cute that made the drama so much better! I'm impressed with her acting <3 I think the story dragged a little (about the mother surgery, Ji Hoon independence... ) or could have more details (why her husband died? why he had debts?). Or even developing more the supporting roles as the chef or the brother in law (I though he was going to cause trouble). It was a good drama overall.
I love the main cast, just Joy... I don't know her, so no opinion yet. She will probably be the innocent hardworking girl. But the best is Kim Min Jae, his acting was sooooo good!!!
I think the ending was OK but it was all about Seo Tae Soo death... it was emotional but a bit boring... the last 4 episodes were about this. They could've explored more the younger characters... DK and JA didn't have a good enough ending for me. After all they've been through, I was expecting a big confession... The younger siblings didn't end up together... I was disappointed... also, all the main problems seemed to be solved and everyone was in peace again. I hate that the grandfather didn't have a punishment and probably would still be a horrible person... at least Myung Hee changed and the evil sisters relationship seemed to become better... the drama overall was good, I watched every week and was bored sometimes but the storyline was good enough to keep me coming here every week... my first time watching a 50 ep drama and I liked the experience... Indeed a roller coaster of emotions. I think it would be a 8/10 for me. The leads actors are very charismatic... I definitely would watch dramas with them again.
I am enjoying this because the situations are so ridiculous that even the worst situations in your life are okay. I like to think that even if they are extreme to create humor, the writer must have had some inspiration, right?

I want happy ending for Ji Ho and Seo Hyun
