episodes 48,49,50 were really boring and I skipped a lot of scenes, but the highlight was Ms Min resignation. I loved how she dressed up, didn't used polite speech and even sited in the chair. She was evil not telling about Eun Seok but she was just following orders... well, she got her revenge. I felt sorry for her because she sold her soul to haesung group but she was the only person who could destroy No Myung Hee... but she really surprised me... one of the best developments alongside with DK father. At the ending scene... the conversation between JA and DK was nonsense to me, DK telling Ja not to travel abroad (why?) and JA saying he never did anything for her (what she expected?) - the last one made me question relationships in general... Seo Hyun totally broke my heart when the father asked about her future and she told she would discuss with the mother... poor girl
Everyone (expect Song Geu Rim) in this drama is sooo possessive, I just can't ...
I can relate with you too, but I feel Ji Soo Ho is possessive but Geu Rim says clearly to him "I'll do what I want" "You call me too much"... he does seems like a child to me, as she is the only person he can give affection, as a very attention needed puppy. That's the reason I can't hate him... I hope we can see his character grow a bit (it is almost the ending though...) ... if he was a real person he would be really annoying. At the same time, he tells her very clearly he likes her and even said he won't use a contract to connect them... well at least he is honest.
hmmmm I still don't know if I like this or not... but I will totally watch until the end because I'm very curious about it. I like the humor but I deslike a few things... how the monkey always know what is going to happen so he planes everything ahead.... He was never fooled by Asanyeo... I wish I could see him really desperated sometime... also the dialogue is a bit repetitive... I think the story is a bit confusing, maybe because I didn't know the original one... The couple... I watched Lee Seung Gi and Oh Yeon Seo just once (liked both of them but not my favorites) but really bothers me Jin Seo Mi keeps smiling all the time even when she was supposed to be sad... I don't think they have the best chemistry but it is still okay... Curiosity is what keeps me watching... bu I have a feeling could be better and more dramatic. Just please let the pig and zombie end up together!!! Why their relationship seems like romance but they labeled it as brother/sister????????
I started yesterday and I currently on ep 6. I though I wouldn't like but I was so bored that decided to try (also because it is available on Netflix... not difficult to find). When I was watching I wished a few things could be better, as the special effects and the evil spirits and a few lines are too repetitive... but somehow I am enjoying and very curious about the original story (just read an article about it here). It is really impressive how they could write a "modern version" of it, I think this is so cool. Just for trying to do something a little different makes me excited. Also, the OST is amazing! I love Bumkey song... also Ben and Suran! What a great choice of memorable voices... I hope I can watch until the end, but it is very enjoyable now :)
I watched 2 episodes and I'm still wondering if Aaron Yan will be 1) the friend who tries to reunite the lovers or 2) the friend who will be between lovers. I hope the first because it could change the idea of the 2nd male lead as a love rival, maybe something fresh? I also liked the second couple, they seem interesting... My first time watching a Chinese drama after a while, hope I can follow it until the end.

yeah... I liked because it is very rare to see homossexual people in dramas. I watched so many dramas but I just remember seeing a gay couple in "The Lover".
I really have a hard time understanding the censorship. In my country almost every tv show has some kind of "hot" scene or people naked. I undestand that the culture is different, but if you ban the stuff, will people don't do it anymore? I don't believe this will make people deslike hip hop or tatoos because both things are trending worldwide. Chinese people can use the internet and see everything. The smoking scenes makes no sense to me because they always "suggest" the act, so what difference does it make? Well, it always bothered me that LGBT is also banned... but I think every country still has a lot of prejudice (my country showed the first gay kiss not long ago). Maybe I could agree with the censorship in things about suicide and death... there is this tv series "13 reasons why" that a lot of people complained because if you are a sensitive person it could be a trigger... I think is more important to show what led someone to kill themself than show the killing scene itself (this I give points to SK because most dramas they focus on the story).
I think this weekend we could see (finally) Do Kyung growing up a bit when he realized Ji An never would be happy living the life as "haesung group wife". I personaly like how they give signs they won't get the two of them together and live hapily ever after without solve this first. In my mind I thought of solutions: either Ji An became famous and turns out to be "good enough" (but her family background would still be not good); Do Kyung imposes to his family he is marrying her and no discussion she would do whatever she likes (impossible for his family to acept) or Haesung group fails and everybody in the family becomes poor (but I don't see this happening). I would love to see the last option because I hate that grandfather and daughter, They are nothing without money. In the next few weeks I believe her husband will explode (I am waiting for this moment). I still hate Ji Tae for imposing to his wife to keep the baby. The FL and the teacher were total nonsense for me. I think it was creepy that the teacher was already a few years older, but he even dated her dead older sister. I also was a little bothered because Yoon Jae always did everthing for her but I didn't see he receiving much. I saw her as a very imature person. They were fun to watch as brother and sister, but I don't know about their love. I couldn't relate a lot with Shi Won because for me she was too spoiled. I personally think she was annoying and had everything without too much effort. I liked Yoon Jae's character and In Guk acting was very nice. He is so different from other dramas I've seen. This made me like him a bit more. I really liked that we could see Yoon Jae x Jun Hee (even if they never say Jun Hee was gay, this was my understanding). I wish at the ending he could confess his feelings... but his personality was calming and understanding... I think he was one of my favorites to watch because we didn't know his feelings at the beginning and how he would act (I'm glad they didn't add some girl with him just for the sake of happy ending). I still think Reply 1988 was better because I liked it more overwall, but specially because I liked the FL more. But while Reply 1997 is more about a love trinagle, 1988 has more focus between the families.

Now I think some things are dragging, as the father's sickness, the main romance, Ji Tae and So Ae marriage, the mother who is always sorry for herself, also the rich parents... I though the father would be one of the best characters, but I have mixed feelings about him. Do Kyung and Ji An were so exciting at the beginning, but now they are a mess. I just can't feel they chemestry now... it was so much better at first. Ji Tae and So Ae pisses me off. I hate how Ji Tae keep put her as a bad person. I hope she not keep the baby if she doesn't wants too. If she keep it out of guilt it is gonna be so sad :( The rich family makes me so angry because the mother thinks she can do anything with her money. I hate her. I think she just want to please her father because there is never ending competition between the sisters. I expected Hyuk and Ji Soo to be more exciting as well, but at least I laugh because of them this weekend. They look good, but we all know her mother is going to try to end their relationship because Hyuk is not rich enough. I can't wait to see how Ji Soo is gonna deal with it. The ones I like the most right now are Seo Hyun and Ji Ho! They have just a few screentime but they are the best. I like how he teaches her about the real world, and I realy hope she finds her place outside the house... for me he seems like the only one who cares about her. I also hope he succeed at his job.
