Sorry for the weird question, but do many scenes involve killing pigs/animals or show their meat and blood? Or…
Not trying to be mean but if this is a vegetarian/vegan type question where you'd prefer not to see a ton of meat or see it being cut, this may not be for you bc she's a butcher and there are lots of references to that and depictions of her work. The human gore for the battles was kept to a minimum but there is a good bit about her butchering job. Im not vegan but i dont agree with animal abuse, so my answer to your question would be no, i didnt feel that way because any depiction of her killing or butchering pigs was shown as a part of daily life that was necessary to feed people and provide for her family in ancient times.
It is true that not everything needs happy endings, but romances ending up with breakups sour the shit out of…
no because i was emotionally invested and they just chopped it off like that. when you see parts of yourself in a charcter and they just get dumped like that it's like owwwwch. "Ah.... I....did not need you to do me like that." At least give us some screen time to process the breakup. They didnt have to end up together but i needed a bit of " im sad but im gonna work on myself because i know it will eventually work out for me" sequence before the season ended. I hate when writers try to pull that game of thrones mess where something drastic and unresolved happen 5 mins before the end of the season.
i really enjoyed most of this but i couldnt deal with them breaking up at the end. soured me on the rest of the series because of the heartbreaking illegal cliffhanger at the end. Like WHAT!?! Not everything has to be a happy ending and it was understandable ehy they broke up but i dont like my feelings being played with like that. It was too abrupt and there was no sequence to kind of give you the idea that theyre sad but still growing and working on themselves.
i really enjoyed pqrts of this and the main storyline but the extended love triangle was irritating because they had enough to be working through and that added uneccesary trouble just annoyed me. it'd have been fine for 3 episodes but it wasnt and it distracted from the good parts of the story. This would have been much better as an 8 episode series. Too long for how much good story was there.
watching season 2 episode 8 and i cant help but laugh at my inner adult who was remembering that id be pissed if i was a cop or adult walking by and all these kids are fighting like that. Id be tempted to take my belt and whoop everyone fighting like "If . you. dont. take. your. lil. bad. asses. home. and stay. out. these . damn. streets. i'm. gonna. whoop. your. lil. ass. til kingdom come, so help me God!"
i just like this part of the manga better than the build up to the last little bit of what the first movie covered. It's better when you read it front to back because it transitions smoothly into this part of the story and you get the impact of why all of this is important to shu and to aoi
