Overall I thought it was decently fun if a bit plot holey, but they're really trying to convince me that Mr abandonment issues 1 and Mr abandonment issues 2 are just okay with that end? Okay...
Because my English sucks blood like a vampire starving, I completely misunderstood episode 9. Specifically, the…
Don't worry, it's not your English skills, it just made no damn sense. They didn't explain it at all and honestly? I think if they had it probably would have been some hand wavy 'because magic' bullshit.
Loving this so far but got absolutely bodied out of the story by the idea that a wealthy French man from 1915 doesn't know what a bicycle is. The golden age of cycling was in the 1890s! France was a major manufacturer of bicycles!
I would like to bow down to whoever did the costume design. The way they used hairstyle and clothes to make them look younger in the early episodes, the way the costumes changed as time passes, the difference in Anin's clothes and make-up since she studied abroad, the BEACH OUTFITS. I'm obsessed, someone give them an oscar
Should have read the reviews before watching, thought it'd be a fun little comedy and now I'm sobbing 10/10 (weighing in on the 'is this a BL' debate, I wouldn't call it one, simply because even though I do read the feelings between them as romantic, the romance is not important to the story at all. So, gay but not BL, which has certain genre expectations)
A fan subber has started posting subbed Moonbyul cuts for those who are watching for her (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teWySuycAtY). They include most of the group discussions just not the other performances or their background videos
Is there an uncut version that I don't know about or is everything on Yt. Cuz I'm always confused when I see video's…
There's theoretically an uncut version on iQiyi but so far everything's been pretty much the same. The scenes you haven't seen are probably from the trailer.
Really good series! Mild's acting is phenomenal as always and all the other actors did really well too. The only thing I wish they'd done is been a bit clearer about the relationship at the end. The wishy-washyness felt like a bit of a cop-out
I was sobbing for the entire last episode, so I understand why some people might be hesitant to watch or only watch until episode 18, but I highly recommend finishing it. It will stab you in the heart but it's so beautifully written and acted that it's worth the pain.
