i loved the hug but that was a perfect moment for a kiss, literally had to go watch kiss scenes of Moonlight to help the frustration haha really hoping for all this build up and teasing us to have a good payoff 😂 they both are good kisses and Ding Yuxi kisses like he's a man starving so I'm like GIMMEE the scene! lol

agreed , nothing else is hyping me up like this one, I'll probably try Story of Pearl Girl next but I'm waiting for it to finish to see how it ends before I give it a try, might just have to keep rewatching dramas, it's so hard to find MLs like Mu Sheng haha

I agree! he's adorable and rly doesn't deserve the hate, I was shocked at how well he handled her rejection, that never happens, he's very caring and protective even when he's terrified he'll jump in bravely, I don't care as much for the princess as she doesn't take the rejection but in still no way evil

i like his character tho lol he's harmless and has no idea, she won't end up with him regardless but he's honestly a super green flag and I want him happy too with someone else

he's about the same amount as Story of Kunning Palace and that has a HE so I'm crossing my fingers for another with our technically grey ML haha
