Anyone else really enjoying Mok Ha and Ran Joo’s relationship? I mean, I love the boys, but I’m so impressed…
I’m really enjoying the relationship between Ran Joo and Mok Ha too and I hope it stays positive. Ki Ho does deserve his leading lady but I’m not so interested in the romance right now. But if adult Mok Ha is different I tend to put it down to her being stuck on a deserted island all those years.
What do you mean, 'Ki-ho' lost his memory'? Did you watch episode 6? 'Ki-ho' never lost his memory to begin with
My native language is English and I still had to come here to figure everything out. I think I’ve got it now but I’m glad I’m not the only one who was a little confused.
I wrote a little something something about how King the Land treats performative smiling: https://crabbyfordramas.wordpress.com/2023/07/02/smiles-in-king-the-land/
That’s a very insightful article. Thank you for sharing it.
Hate comments because of the storyline. People watching it are not sick of cliches, they know cliches will be…
It’s my first drama from both of them too and I don’t watch dramas for the pretty people but I’m also enjoying it. Sure it has cliches and stuff I’ve seen before but I think they’re doing it in a fun way. If people don’t like the show that’s fine with me, but some people really are just having a fun time with it.
But it’s realistic that one part struggle with accepting a break up.
It’s definitely something that happens in real life. It is a little frustrating that the ex’s reasoning seems to be that he’s just so awesome she could never really break up with him.
I dunno what people are complaining about here. It looks like a very funny, lighthearted and well made rom-com…
If people don’t like it I guess they just don’t but I’m having fun with it myself. Unless it takes a sharp downturn (which is always possible) I’m going to stick with it.
I hope that after FL breaks up with her current lover, he doesn't come back later and say anything like "I was…
So far he seems like a throwaway character whose function is to act like a jerk, but I support they could give him more depth later. Not my favorite trope either though.
I’m excited for both of them. King the Land has a less ambitious plot but there have been some good dramas built around a premise like that so for me it’s too early to tell which one I will like or which one will do better.
I admit I was a little disappointed they didn’t leave her getting with Dr Roy at least as a possibility, because I think he sincerely cared for her and it wasn’t for her to tell him that he should have kids - not everyone even wants to have kids. But for me that wasn’t really what the show was about. It was about her living her best life and for her that was riding a cool motorcycle and being a good doctor and helping people. And sure I wish In-ho had ended up a bit more miserable but it is more realistic that he just went on with his life, and the other woman rejected him too so at least there was that. So I know I may be alone in this but I’m actually fairly happy with the ending.
