Right? And its already so horrible people calling Leng talentless without knowing if he actually is. I don't understand at all, there are so many BLs that has newbies in the leading role that go amazingly. We have Mix, Nunew, Gemini, Tar Atiwat, Bible, all done awesome performances in their first acting jobs, why is this specific person so bad? There sure were poor first performances too, but I don't understand why is everyone so sure he will be bad, where can this be coming from if not from just hating atp? Aof paired the newbie Mix for 1000 stars with the already industry famous Earth Pirapat and a staple of a show came out of that. One of the best actors out of GMMTV.
And as I said horrible enough, it's even worse people attacking his looks. I mean, for real? It's so petty mean girl behavior. I was in awe, in my opinion that is my own he is the best looking guy Ohm has ever been paired with. He indeed looks like BKPP love child and BKPP are top of my stans. The dude is gorgeous! And of course beauty is subjective, but this are just mean attacks that make me feel so bad, I hope he was prepared. I'm sure GMMTV and them both knew there would be toxic fan behavior.

I think liking to see the same pairing again seems to be personal, some like it, some don't. I don't think it "gets" boring, I only think it's boring if it was boring to begin with, or maybe the new show is not as good as the last, which can happen, not everything can be a hit. I always say that I'm very easy to please and will be happy either way. If I loved a show and the pairing, I would be excited to see them again, but as much excited to see only one of them again with a new pairing. I always want my favorites to keep doing BLs period, can be with other people. If I like the actor enough, I will even watch straight shows, Ohm is one of them for me. I think the key is not judge before the show airs, and also moderation, just loving your thing without fanaticism. Some fans get really attached, to the point of toxic deluluness, and its a crime for them to act with new partners, and some other toxic behavior. Like the fandom war with GeminiFourth fans started attacking Moonlight Chicken and EarthMix. Or Boun coming to latin america without Prem, got some people really offended by that, even though Prem is an independent actor now, with a show ongoing, and the schedule will not always sincronize. Any extreme behavior and toxic hating is bad, but there is a lot of it going on, and they tend to be loud, specially on twitter X.

Edit: Is the hate mostly on twitter? (as always is) Cause here is surprisingly positive, also on reddit and youtube comments. And isn't it from the most delulu toxic fans? I truly want to believe that a big company won't back out of anything because of a few fans, specially cause of course GMMTV was expecting backlash from OhmNanon fans with Ohm with a new partner, they've been experiencing it for months, even taking out OhmNanon merch from their production got them steered up. If they still put Ohm in a BL and released this trailer with all that, I don't think that would change. But might be the reason the trailer is ambiguous enough to have us questioning if it was BL or not.

It's their first! Gawin already played BL role in Dark Blue Kiss paired with Podd, Not Me paired with First Kanaphan, and Be My Favorite with Krist (which was his first main role), and this is Joss first BL (although things do happen in 3 Will be Free)
I was only half watching this show, not caring so much, just cause I like the actors, so I left it on while I did other stuff. That was until yesterday's episode. I LOVE NATHEE AND FLORENCE. And those were the actors that I knew the least about, I didn't know Luke and knew only Aye from minor characters. Florence is a great character, by far my favorite of the show, and their banter is amazing. Can't wait to see more of their chemistry. Now I'm paying attention.

And now I'm curious, I've been watching BLs for a few months now, and I've read a lot about how the chinese BLs are a lot on limbo. Do they actually film the whole thing without even knowing if it's going to air? Isn't it even risky to even attempt that? It doesn't seem likely the studio get the money back if it's not allowed to air, or does it? Cause if they don't, they are true heroes for even trying. And I've read somewhere that they try to air under the radar, that's why Justice in the Dark made a pause these days because of political thinks happening. But it they make a show that can't even generate a lot of buzz, how do they even get their money back? Because the pictures look amazing and not at all cheap. Because "last time" it attracted attention wasn't good? What happened? Cause there seem censored BLs turned into bromance were being released until 2021. I'm really curious about the business side of it, if any of the veterans here have the patience to enlighten a newbie 🌈
