Just curious, as a novel BL watcher, if nor MLD, where can I know if a show "a lot of people actually enjoyed something/ if something was critically good"? I'm aligned with some ratings, not with others. I'm almost thirty, so if that is the demographic of MDL, I'm bound to disagree with many ratings I guess kkkkk
God I don't comment a lot around here, but this one I have to. I came in with very low expectations because of the rating, but this show was amazing for me! If anyone is in doubt about watching, seriously, just do it. It's the first show that I can say I absolute adore all three couples. Seriously. There is always one that I don't care too much about, even think about skipping their scenes, but not those three. All their chemistries are amazing. It has the secret years-old crush done right. The chasing a hard to get guy done right (this one is so easy to become creepy/stalkery, but here is just right). And the forbidden love, oh that one. DomeVee enchanted me so much, I could feel how much they yearned for each other. Even when they were looking at each other from across a lake! And there was no acting that I thought os forced or cringy. And the production! I was hypnotized by the colors, loved the cinematography, specially in the beach episode, watched it twice cause it was so aesthetically beautiful. And the OST?! My favorite from any BL I've ever watched (granted, I'm new to this world, but still). From the cheer chanting in the 1st episode, and how that version was carried to the basketball games, to the opening song, the classical music used just right. And is the first time in a sport-related BL that I actually care about the sport, the team winning. Before watching I was a little worried too about this time skip some comments were talking about, but it didn't bother me at all. I don't feel worthy enough yet to write an atual review kkkkkk But god, really, if anyone in any doubt actually reads this rant of mine, it is totally worth watching.
