Very unexpected
The whole story was beautiful and emotional. All of the universes they went through were interesting and captivating in their own way. I could really fell both of their desperation and love, and it made me cry a lot in the end.The only thing i thought could be better is the english parts. Becky and the mom talked with more focus on making the english sound right and 'american' than on the acting itself. Becky even let her british accent slip out in some parts kkkkkkkkk
Also, i know this is my own issue, but i didn't understand the part that Lin is an old lady.
I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It was so good.

Amazing storytelling, i sobbed
The whole thing was so heartwarming and beautiful. It was aggressive when needed and extremely realistic in every way except for the magic time-traveling part. Everyone's lives, experiences, and feelings were explained and well represented, and I felt that nobody was left behind. The four main actors did an amazing job; they're so good. I loved that they were completely different and unique in their own way. The way it's written! Omg, I loved that we could see the parents in many different scenarios: how they were there for each other when things were tough in adulthood, how they met and fell in love, and how they continued to love each other when their lives were better financially and socially in the end. We don't usually get to see these many dimensions in a couple's relationships in series. I loved seeing them grow up together. The only thing is that I wish the ending was a bit longer, and we could see how On Eun Yu's life changed too, and how her and Eun Gyeol's relationship was now that they got back, her dynamic with his family, and all.Was this review helpful to you?

VÃO VER NOT ME, GAYS
Was this review helpful to you?

The cutest
I was so hyped when this adaptation was announced, having watched Kieta Hatsukoi and Gemini x Fourth's past series, and I was not disappointed. Their acting is amazing, especially Fourth, who has the best expressions and shows nuanced emotions so well. His internal conflicts can be deeply felt without the need for any words; he's so good, my son T-T. Gemini also did a great job with his quiet and clueless character. I feel like they're both really similar to the Atom and Kongthap in real life too.I also really liked the secondary couple; they are so pretty, and they have amazing chemistry. Mudmee is so sweet, and Half is such a saint. Much better than the Japanese adaptation, where they were kind of bland and not very remarkable. The story also felt very natural and real, like actual teenagers' first love.
The things I liked the most about this version are that they erased the homophobia from the original work and the inclusion of mothers. No words can express how happy I was when we discovered that teacher was not homophobic like the Japanese version; I was tearing up for real.I have conflicting feelings about the amount of homophobia scares, though. I think it was maybe more than 5 times where they made us believe that a character was going to be homophobic for a long time before reveiling it was just a misunderstanding or something. It felt bad, and for me, a queer watcher, I really felt the fear Atom felt every time, because that's how it feels to have to come out; it's always scary, and especially for a teen, it's so nervewracking to feel like you're going to lose someone you love every time you come out, no matter how much you know they love you.
The other thing I have to criticize about this is how much Mudmee is influenced by her (very sucky, might I add) "friends". They never had a good thing to say and gave the worst advice, and Mudmee, despite questioning them, always ended up following what they said only to rediscover that Half is a very patient saint.Atom also got carried away by his own bad thoughts, but at least he has the axcuse of the very real fear of being rejected by homophobia, and Kongthap was also a patient saint throughout their process.
Overall, I think this was very well written. I loved the cast and the OSTs. I cried a little at the end, and it was great.

Good Buddy

Nice watch
It's a very nice story. They have a lot of chemistry, their kisses were so good, soft and natural 10/10. The side couples were cute too. I wish we could see a little more of the third couple, Game and the vocalist guy. Game is so cute. Everyone's smiles' were sooo pretty, it was like they only casted people if they had pretty smiles. Also! Diew's actor did such a good job. I was very impressed with him.There were some things that bothered me though. First was how they presented introversion as this "condition" almost like neurodivergence. Being an introvert is nothing like that, maybe Diew had some other psychological disadvantages. His mom and people around him were constantly trying to "fix" him, and it felt so strange to me that all that was just because he is an introvert. In contrast, we can see that his friend Game is also an introvert, and everything is normal for him. I think Diew definitely has some undiagnosed stuff. Or maybe it's a cultural difference, idk..
The other thing that bothered me was the tortoise, omg. That container was so so small for it. You want me to believe that this tortoise was everything to him, like a best friend, but, he couldn't even give it a proper container. Every time that poor thing appeared i could only feel uneasy.
Third and final thing, but a lot less serious, was the fact that we learned everything we could possibly know about Diew's family, but there was absolutely nothing about God's family or personal life outside university and dating. Wasn't he supposed to be a main character too? And this problem felt specially evident when they had that fight about Diew not opening up to him and not telling him about his family. What about YOUR family, huh??

Alien vampires and cute girls, what more can i ask
So funny through every episode. The vampire group is as interesting as the girl group, and the side characters are also very intriguing. Yubi is the cutest, Soohyuk is so cool. The alien-vampire plot is so unique.My only critique would be the amount of wrong jokes, like fat´shamming and colorism. I don't think we can blame it on the time period, as i think it is still a problem in korea to this day. You can expect these kinds of jokes on a korean sitcom, i guess.
I wish they made a proper ending, it was getting so interesting. They just left everything unresolved :´)
I would definetely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a little laugh. And i already want to watch it again.

Loved it
It was so aesthetically pleasing: beautiful lighting, clothes, and photography. The wigs were a bit :P, except for Lan Jue's. extremely interesting mystery storyline and cool detective work; I loved how all the cases were intertwined with the leads personal stories. Cool, diverse leads; all of them have satisfying character development and endings. Profound interpersonal relationships. They cared for each other in a very deep way, and the bromance was so on point. The beginning is a bit lukewarm, but it gets more interesting as the story unfolds, so you need to really give it a chance and trust the process. I liked the ending; it felt satisfying and thrilling without the feeling of it being rushed or having any unfinished plots. I wish we could see more of Kurou and Shulin's relationship and dynamic when they were children.Was this review helpful to you?

mid
dude kissed the other dude when he was passed out drunk;super confusing for the first five episodes;
all three couples are frustrating and uncomfortable to watch;
30 minutes episodes felt like 2 hours, i had to skip some parts because everything was soooo slow, they walked slow, and talked slow, and ate slow, and there were so many quiet or staring scenes;

Cute love story
I really liked the two main characters' acting; they were so natural and cute with each other. The story was well written, maintaining the mystery while showing bits of the answer little by little, although it becomes obvious by the third episode. I enjoyed the pacing a lot. Also, their kisses were SO GOOD, which was expected in a series with kissing as a theme, but being Korean, my expectations weren't so high, but wow, they were so good for real. The only thing I didn't like was how the FL Sol offended two dudes with no reason, just because she didn't like their appearance. It was subtle, but still noticeable.Was this review helpful to you?

Very comfortable
They were both so cute in very different ways. It's short, but i think it was well executed.I loved the feeling of finding someone that gives you comfort in a stressful situation, and makes you forget about the world because you can only focus on them. A person that doesn't pressure you into opening up, but truly enjoys when you do, even if slowly.
I only deducted points because the sound effects don't really fit the atmosphere. I didn't hate the girl, but she was a bit overwhelming.
I wish there would be a normal lenght series of these two, their chemestry and dynamic were so good. It felt very wangxian kin XD

Fez eu sentir coisas boas
