Matthew's very first appearance on the show had his scar on display. It could also be a temporary tattoo, so KKT investigating his real identity because of it is possible.

Matthew also has the same scar as Dami and her adoptive parents. Grandpa was shocked upon seeing LHS's scar and it was mentioned that Dami's condition is hereditary(?). Also, Matthew never really mentioned his wife in his revenge plans. It was always Dami, explains why he never cared about the wife. But tbh I don't think he really cares about Dami either. His revenge plan is SOOO shitty with provoking Sungchan group for no reason and actually wanting to kill the ones who failed their missions. He is just having fun imo.

They're not completely different. The curse is copied from Smile, Virupaksha just showed a black magic origin of the curse that made it less mysterious. It's like the Conjuring movies where "defeating" evil makes the plot cheap.

I'm guessing you're a guy cause there's no reason a woman would recommend a movie with unnecessarily sexualized "romance" where the FL is used as a prop. Not to mention that their concept is literally copied from Smile (2022) that was actually a good movie.
