Very good drama and definitely one of the best out there. I did have a few problems with it, like the pacing and the cast that was so large it got confusing, but overall it was good.
Very interesting premise with a dark tone. But I do have two complaints and they’re mainly about pacing.
1. The pacing for the main plot is very slow. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but I felt like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and it just never did. I expect things to ramp up in Part 2, but Part 1 is very very slow so be prepared.
2. Joo Yeongjun’s storyline is extremely confusing. After 8 episodes I couldn’t explain to you at all what his backstory and goals are. Not in a “oh he’s so mysterious” kind’ve way, but just that I don’t understand anything they’ve shown about him so far.
The cast was phenomenal but I sadly had to drop it. The relationship between Gong Yoo and Kim Goeun’s characters started weirding me out the closer they got, since she was a teenager and he was a fully grown man acting like a high schooler with a crush. If the drama had just aged her up (from the START) to be in her 20s+ or simply a university student, then it would’ve been fine. But they made her a high school kid, and the enormous age gap between the two made it uncomfortable.

Despite those two points, it’s a good show.
