Pretty dissapointed but still an okay watch
The edits from the teasers from this series were the ones that got me into thai gl in first place I was really excited about the whole plot but then I realised it wasn't on air yet, that's when I watched TSOU. And after all the gls I've watch since then, TSOU it's still my favorite one. This really got my hopes high about this gl and ngl it pretty was entretaining for the most part. I even got engaged at first, but suddenly they tried to fit too many plot lines in one. I think the series was great until the episode they actually confess each other's love at the rooftop. After that, the whole family drama made everything WAAAYY too long. Ayla's father was too stubborn, the whole thing of keeping Ayla inside to not let her see Tawan was a lot, Mek as a character entirely dissapeared once he went to jail, and everything about Tawan taking over her father's company was missing when Ayla got ill. Also the resolution between the parents didn't feel genuine at all even. Everything goes too fast and it's a rollercoaster of emotions between this couple that doesn't seem justified at all. My girls are actually fine, I love their chemestry and even if it was a little weird to see Ling acting all protective instead of mean and cold, I got used to it pretty quick and end up loving her devotion to Ayla (and found it pretty hot, to say the least...). I loved Chanya as a character too, how she was the brain of the A bodyguard trio and actually got Tawan to actually lock in when she had to make a decision about taking care of Ayla, after that she pretty much stayed in the background sadly :( The CEO of the company was very pretty too and I really liked her personality as unrealistic as it might actually be from the real idol industry lol. Overall, i was expecting way more from the series, but it wasn't a hard watch. I wouldn't recommend it nor rewatch it. But I love Lingorm so maybe give it a try.
