Title A Dream of Splendor Spoiler
Two episodes to go but it is frustrated.I loved the main couple until episode 27 ( arount that) but after that…
Agreed. I was like.. that's it?.. especially how they put a lot of emphasis on her sadness when he ghosted her and the topic of women being independent. Then it only took one scene to get them back together.

Title A Dream of Splendor Spoiler
Currently on episode 35. May someone kindly explain the whole deal with Ouyang Xu and The Night Revels painting? Isn't it true, though, that the Empress was, in fact, a performer and that the painting is real? Even if the emperor was aware and helped her change her identity, were women of former pariah status allowed to enter the harem, let alone become empress?

Title The Song of Glory Spoiler
What a journey. In my opinion, this drama had one of the best starts for a historical romance genre. I enjoyed watching thoroughly up until the 30s. After that it seemed to really drag because ep 30-40 could've just been five episodes and not ten. Plot slowly gained back its momentum around late 30s and the twist at the end (last villain) was really a twist. Really enjoyed that part. Drama did lack good writing in a lot of parts but is still one I could watch until the end. Acting from the entire cast is amazing and I really enjoyed watching Li Qin (Li Ge), Gu Jia Cheng (Prince Jing Ling), Long Zheng Xuan (Zijin), and Lu Zhan Xiang (Kong Cheng). Honestly, it took way too long to get rid of Lu Yuan and Shen Leqing because many times they could've been dealt with but the scriptwriters kept keeping them. Plot did speed up after they were gone.
Drama did get tiring and uninteresting at some points midway but I did enjoy the last few episodes.
