About my coming to Germany is a long story, but to make it short I just say that my mother is German, my father was Romanian, so I'm half German. We lived in Romania, but last year after my father died we decided to come here (my husband, my child and my mother). My brother is living in Germany since 1997. I speak fluent german, so it's easy for me.
Kdramas are very popular in Romania, there are at least 3 channels airing them. From what I know they don't air Jdramas. maybe that's why I like just Kdramas and I cannot bring myself to watch Jdramas. I tried Taiwanese dramas (Devil besides you)... BIG FAIL.
Maybe you can recommend me a good Jdrama, something you think I'd like.

I see you like Iljimae, so I assume you like Lee Jun Ki. I like him too. That was the first drama I saw him play and I loved him back then.
I don't know if you still want to watch Scandal, but I can tell you that I love and hate that drama. First thing Kim Jae Won is great, his the main reason I didn't drop it. But the story is also good, just it is a little too much makjang in it. And some characters are really annoying and without deep. Around ep 10 I really thought about dropping it, but I crawled till ep 16 when I was happy I watched it. Then around ep 22 till ep 25 it was too dragging, now it's interesting again. Hope the ending is good, because we are speaking about 36 hours of my life.
I intend to watch Secret, what is your opinion about it?

I didn't watched Ugly Alert or If tomorrow comes. I checked the first one and I will watch it someday. If tomorrow comes aired in Romania (I live in Germany just from March this year, until then I lived in Romania), at that time I checked a few eps, but it didn't get me, so I don't know if I'll watch it.
In Life is beautiful the homosexual relationship is the main point, or the main "attraction", but it's not something hard or very obvious. It's more centered around the affection between the two and the problems they're facing with the their family. Tae Sub's family is very large, 4 children, parents, grandparents, two uncles, they all live in the same house and so the problems are many and different. The first eps are a little slow, until you know the entire family, but I was never bored and it is a 63 eps drama. And there is not even one makjang "subject"!!!
With Scandal I have a love/hate relationship. Some days I love it, some days I think I should drop it, but because I love Kim Jae Won I'll watch it till end. I cried sometimes (I cry easy at movies with sad stories), but still something is missing. It's more a makjang that a melo, maybe it's too much happening to the same persons. On the other hand, it keeping me interested.

But let's cool down. Wonderful Mama was ok for me, until, let's say, ep 40 it was very good, but than something happened and I didn't feel the same connection to the drama. The cast and the acting was still good. The characters also, but if you wanna watch a good family drama I recommend Life is Beautiful. That if you don't mind a gay relationship in a Kdrama. I still miss that drama. It's like a reality show, not a drama. That's why I loved it. You can say it's a drama about family and life, not a melodrama or a makjang. And it's very funny. Sometimes I cried and laughed at the same time.
