It was intentionally so bad/cringe as a book that it was good for the most part in the alternative reality but they kinda made up for the messy plot with the reasons. I mean it was a good enjoyable watch with occasional cringe attacks

The pacing was too slow then too fast then it appeared they wanted to reveal mysteries seamlessly but it felt bumpy... yet actors made wonders with their portrails. Gore was goring and immorality was doing its job. Obviously only mortals there were the fml's family. Yep, pace was really off with this one, It confuses you with spiraling just like my comment and yet you understand it just fine! I watched it mostly for lee dong wook's scenes, why and how is he so alluring what's so right about him I can't understand, I didn't even like him like most people before watching the drama but here I am, even though the questionable pacing and plot holes, admitting that i watched the whole series for glimpses of him. What spell you cast on us sir!?
It was a roller coaster ride on melodrama cliché rails. it served what had been expected. they pushed all buttons at one point but it was for 12 ep so it was ok.
It was a well balanced drama between cliché and fresh story telling and character building. They wrote amazing feminism /sexism subtext. They did not victimise female characters instead empowered them through their struggles.
It didn't flow for me but I couldn't not watch it either. I jump some of the episodes yet watch it for hours till the finale. It was sweet yet draggy so I rate it 7/10 but I understand the hipe over it's rating. Like many of member said it was clean from the dramatic cliches. maybe I love drama idk
this "honorable" reason was talked about from episode 1. the FL clearly stated that she punishes bad men
I know but it was fl’s problematic pov until writers make her ex boyfriend defend her in the magazin show, then it became drama’s general idealistic reflection
The series was a good watch until they thought they need to create a honorable reason for fl's relationship history(mostly for public approval). It was truely annoyingly unnecessary also it was ironic how they handle it considering the plot. But apart from that this drama was light and fun.

they simply said that she found a new passion so she quit sports. but it can be only in her novel, maybe she never did sports. so their best man and bride maid can be their friends from high school or something. so much possibilities come with the misdirection... i kinda like it but also hate it.
they actually misdirect us throughout the whole series and last four minutes they reveal what?! I mean... i can't help but resent a little bit. I was being sad for the dead (but not dead) mao xiao jun the whole time and then he was safe and sound in actuality. So now i can't imagine how is the dinamic between the "nan xing, xiao jun and aunt an" trio.
don't get my whinning wrong it's a good watch tho, i'll probably rewatch it after some time. it's just light and bubbly, easy to watch.
I like the slow paced love story of MCs' and the oddly beautiful friendships but it hurt seeing Park Yoon's characters to be in constant pain. Overall it was really heart warming drama(except the twins) and I really needed it.
It was good, I didn't get bored like many did but for me it lacked story&character depth for side roles. I mean when they spent time in Myul Mang's deserted world it felt no difference to me. I guess it made me realize even though there were people who loved Main leads and care for them, MLs still didn't attach to them. It was like there was nothing but the two of them the whole drama and it makes the drama lacks dimensions. Yet it wasn't really a bad drama and I rated it 8/10

I can't agree more. Also I felt sorry for FL's character, it had so much potential with this script but they somehow managed to give her a bland character, like how? Were you not ashamed of it?
I liked the actings, aspecially FL, Yu Fei and Xing Xing's they were really adorable. Jiang Hao was another adorable character in the drama, he makes you want to protect him. I liked how ML doesn't blink his eyes, it was quiet accurate when we think about his job but this detail also pushed me away from some of his scenes with FL. I couldn't hold my laugh when he looked at her with those eyes, it was too creepy for me. But seriously watch this drama, You'll llove it.
