I have watched till episode 10 and I must say some of the characters casting feels off like Wu Xie and his 2nd…
his uncle in this is just a flashback so he's younger, as for the previous series may be because the actor is different and so the production team, so yeah it is a bit confusing.
As someone who dislikes mostly all slice of life dramas, would this be any good?
the slice of life in this series is mostly funny and not that dark/sad. but i don't really know what you prefer, for the quality of the story it is so well written and the actor and actrees play very well.

i forgot which episodes, may be i'll back here after found it :D. as for my understanding, their bond and trust grew in that journey, it is only a small gift but it has black sincere trust and friendship towards xiao hua. as what xiao hua going to say, i don't know too but i feel it kind of his sincere feeling too. if you already watched them in mountain (nearly last ep), the person who understand xiaohua's joke is only black, even wuxie's response doesn't satisfy his joke :D.
