i can see their deep relationship too, and the way they communicate without word, i see that as strong bond. yes, when he called xiaoge as the only person who knew his illness. the way xiaoge looks at wuxie while he drink medicine (while fatty mistake it as some vitamin). my favourite is when xiao ge knocked out wuxie because he need rest. i love that scene very much, and i can feel the iron triangle bond there, not only between wuxie and xiaoge but the three of them. and yes, that dream too, it's so deep.

i don't know if i'm mistaken in understanding the novel (i'm planning to read from merebear translation to see what i missed) and indeed it is different in the drama adaptation. it mention in the novel that the way to cure wuxie's illness is everybody has been scheming wu xie and lure him to golden water tomb. they lied to wu xie that xiao ge is in danger along with black glasses (even fatty knew this). so may be it is one of the reason why wu xie has least time with xiao ge. they already knew that wu xie will have this illness so they arrange this journey and with certain condition (they don't know exactly it will work but they don't have other choice).

they'll have reunion in s2. it is because black glasses and xiaoge was trapped so wuxie and team is going to save them
