if you're into melodramas i'd say yes! it's hitting all the emotional so far and it's not all sad there's good bits of comedy in there as well and will have romance later on too.
Very curious about the relationship between Kang Tae Shik and Yoon Gyeo Rye. Don't think they're father and son…
I am pretty sure in the childhood scene, the faceless guy who was strangling Kang Tae Shik was Yoon Gyeo Re's dad. It would make sense since the drama's synopsis says he was abused as a kid and it could very well have been his father that abused him.
Did anyone notice Kwak Dong Yeon's name isn't even shown in the cast credits during the opening theme? I checked and he's listed as a supporting actor on the drama's official website, here as well as on asianwiki and was said to be a supporting actor of the drama in all the news reports as well. And so far he definitely seems to be, he appears in lots of scenes alongside the ML so It's kind of odd he isn't listed in the opening. Am I overthinking and this hints at his character being more than meets the eye (ik we're all thinking the same thing) or is it just a mistake on the drama's part? Because why wouldn't he be included? Unless.. He will only be a temporary character, but I won't entertain that idea :P
Oh my god this is going to kill me. I've been anticipating this because of JCW and knew it's likely gonna be a tearjerker ever since I've read the synopsis but.. I didn't expect it to hit THIS hard. I can't recall how times I cried throughout the first two episodes. And what the hell was that ending, how can I wait another week for this ffs ðŸ˜
Who knows If I'll eat my words again because I'm saying this like everytime I start a newly airing show recently but this might actually be my favorite drama of 2022. I love everything about it already.
I have not started this series but just wondering does season 2 follows season 1? Or are they independent in terms…
Season 2 basically leaves off where Season 1 ends (I recommend watching the ep 21 special of s1 to understand why certain characters left, and it's also further explained in s2 ep1) but it's technically a seperate plot and while there are three new main lead characters, the main character Teacher Kim and the rest of the hospital is the same. I would highly recommend not skipping s1 because the series heavily revolves around Teacher Kim and s1 shows his backstory. There are also some important events that carry over into s2 and the characters will just be easier to understand if you have the context from s1. And it's just an amazing season in itself!
aaah i love her! nice to hear she'll be in if you wish upon me. if you guys haven't checked out her music work, you really should bc she's an amazing singer. she needs a main role though.
FINALLY SOME CAST NEWS AAAAH!!! And the main leads will be back, hoping to see the rest of Doldam hospital back too (Dr Yoon, nurse Oh and Euntak especially)! Filming will start in November apparently! There's small hope in me we might get s1 casts as cameos.. Like what about that oddball project they were teasing in s2?? It seemed like Dr. Kim wanted Dongju and Seojeong to be on the team. (still unlikely they'll come back but i can dream)
finished all the aired episodes and i'm loving it so much so far, really fast paced, exciting and the way Chang Ho manages to pull the biggest damn bluff ever and have the whole prison on his side is amazing lmao. I also love the little flashback scenes that illustrate the relationship between him and his wife (can't wait to see more of them being badasses seperate and together) and the comedy moments are well placed too. I knew the wait would pay off for this show. Lee Jong Suk just doesn't miss. (ALSO DONG YEON MY BOY ILYSM HOPE U DONT DIE! /nervous laughter)
Glad my boy Youngjae is booked and busy!! Will probably wait until this is over to see if it's any good since I didn't like his recent projects :( That moment when someone from your ult group is starring in so many dramas and you wanna support but the shows just don't do it for you ðŸ˜
Thank god this will be on VIKI! I am done with that DISNEY+ sh*t -,- They are literally taking many dramas these…
God same 😠I'm also bummed they took Big Mouth. My recent favorite shows were all kept in the dungeon by Disney+ and it's just getting tiring to see good dramas not get the attention they deserve just because they're not licensing them worldwide.

was hoping for a 2022 release but I guess we'll have to hold out a bit longer ðŸ˜
