I for one don't think there's anything wrong with the pacing and don't really get the people who say that the story is dragging because like you said, the drama just is very character driven and definitely more of a slow-burn (both the mystery and the romance) so if you want them to hurry up, you're most likely just expecting the wrong things. It doesn't rush itself in revealing things or "finishing off" certain storylines just for the sake of plot moving forward. People were saying that the Stalker storyline should finally end and that they should just move on to what happened to Gyehoon's sister, but it turns out they're more connected than it seemed and actually blend into each other. Everything relates to something else in one way or another, wether in terms of the narrative or the themes, and the whole thing only works together and not seperately.

Finished the ep and PHEW so all the kids of Jihwa-dong have come in one place now, and everyone is aware of it. We've also cleared up the mystery about who Mr. Police really is and that the piano teacher is his father. I adore how caring Dahyun and her whole family is towards Eunjung (and yay my theory was spot on about her sister!!!), I hope they become besties.
AND THE PREVIEW AHH??? So Dahyun will actually feel Gyehoon's feelings too now? I was hoping for the Link to work in reverse for a long time and it's actually happening! I love this drama so much omg. I really like where things are going rn, and am super excited to finally dig deeper into what happened during Gyeyoung's disappearance now that Stalker dude has revealed he actually knows something. But now it's waiting game again 😭

Yeah I mean they also literally had a whole scene where Dahyun walks by that TV report about stalking and how even after reporting a stalker and getting a restraining order you still wouldn't be 100% safe. It's not even just SK, I've seen several cases in my own country (EU) where women went to the police because of stalking but with little to no results. Mistrust in the police (as well as failure on the police's side) when it comes to stalking is a huge thing and it was pretty obvious that that's something that kept eating at Dahyun away and factors into how she acts in her own case.

Soo does that ending pretty much prove that she's not his sistser? (they almost got me there for a sec thinking she was gonna stab Dahyun lol) Hope my theory is right and she really is looking for revenge, it'd make things rlly interesting 👀
Also YES to Dahyun putting that creep into his place and literally declaring war, that scene was awesome. I think it's hugely admirable that she stood up for herself, because I sure wouldn't have the balls to confront my Stalker like that. She's so strong.

wahhh same here! I also only knew about MGY knowing german but I didn't know about the grandma's actress. That adds one more to korean actors that lived in Germany. Another one I know is Yoo Teo, if you remember the terrorist in Vagabond, who was born and grew up in Köln!! Feels funny knowing that a famous actor you've seen in a drama could've been just some guy you'd run into on the street lmao.

Agree!! I honestly prefer romances that take their time instead of having them get together super early on. My most favorite relationships always end up being those where you can see the gradual growing affection and the push-and-pull between the leads (it's way more addictive to watch imho).
His character in HDL wasn't bad or anything but wasn't very memorable either which is also not a good thing. I did still really like the drama overall but he unfortunately paled in comparison to IU who had such an iconic role.

I'm loving this drama a lot! It does start off a bit angsty but balances out nicely in the following episodes. It's my first time watching the leads but so far it's been really cute and the chemistry is great too.
With all the trauma and curveballs life threw at him you'd expect Na In Woo's character to turn out extremely gloomy but he's so unexpectedly dorky I love it?? He said fuck it imma make the most out of life with my little fish shop lmao. I also really like how obviously inspired it is by stories like Tangled and Enchanted (Seul Bi reminds so much of Giselle!!)
Definitely my comfort watch atm :))

It's amazing so far, do give it a go! If you like dramas that cover a wide range of genres this one is probably the best among all the currently airing ones. Starts off as a romance with fantasy elements but turns out to be a really intriguing small-town murder mystery with equal amounts of thriller and comedy moments in between.
What's really fun about it is that the plot is genuinely unpredictable, you'll see looking at the comments that ppl have lots of fun theorizing! It's def a slowburn romance-wise atm but the leads have super good chemistry and Yeo Jin Goo is also acting his ass off so I'd say it's worth your time for sure.

Wow, I've seen The Admiral recently but had no idea there was a sequel let alone a trilogy planned but this is exciting!! It'll definitely have big shoes to fill, with the first being the most successful SK movie ever.

I think we'd all love that but sadly he declined for the 2nd season (had too many projects on his plate already by the time they decided to continue filming s2).. LJG got offered his role but hasn't accepted yet.
