It's opposite for me run on was such a different drama like a breath of fresh air I get most people don't get…
don't worry you're not the only one, run on is basically a cult classic already among most korean drama fans, i'm honestly surprised international fans don't like it but i guess the slice of life genre can't keep everyone's attention..
do you have any recommendations for dramas similar to this? i loved this so much!
i really recommend ji chang wook's if you wish upon me! it's also a melodrama/tearjerker with romance but the main plot is about the ml who lead a rough life and ends up doing community service in a hospice and forms relationships with the people there.
kim young kwang's acting makes me wanna pass out (positive)
i cant believe i sat through this in one sitting 😭😭😭 this drama was the definition of ragebait but holy hell it was worth it even if just for the leads.
ppl need to stop clutching their pearls about this age gap omfg they're both adults and don't even look far apart. they had no way to swiftly cast another well known actor because PSH dropped out suddenly so they did what they could given the circumstances. either you give the ML a chance instead of judging him based on career length/previous dramas or stay mad but do it somewhere else
edit: love to see that nothing ever changes on this website and kdrama fans are as insufferable as ever 🤩
probably considered more of a fantasy drama than historical kdrama.
yeah arthdal is kind of a weird outlier because technically it's very loosely a historical fantasy since it takes some basis from korea's founding myth - but it carries more similarities with western fantasies like GoT (which it's compared to a lot). so strictly speaking it's not really a traditional sageuk (historical) at all
