so i looked into it, and it seems that at the end of the novel she goes back to the present and opens her own restaurant. then the king goes to the present and finds her at the restaurant and it's an implied happy/open ending. how he managed to time travel was unclear though.
ofc, the drama can change things up a little but i think (or hope) they will not deviante too much. since the focus on romance is heavy here though, i hope they flesh it out to a proper happy end! SO THERE'S HOPE GUYS! 😭
