and when i told ya'll mfs to NOT hate on him for doing his job as a detective. WHEN I TOLD YA'LL. enemies to lovers…
real ones were always daon defenders 💪 the people that hate on him and say he (and the loveline) are unnecessary don't understand how good writing/storytelling works. without him, TJFH would not be the fantastic drama that it is.
written by a real, practicing lawyer! so this will definitely be interesting and for sure different than lee jong suk's other law characters; it seems like it'll lean more towards the realistic/slice of life side which is nice 💯
the writer seriously deserves accolades for her debut drama. so many dramas that fizzled out in the end this year but this show was straight and true until the end, with consistent writing, message, acting and everything around it. ep13 had me bawling my eyes out during the trial and ep14 was such a perfect wrap up and happy ending especially for our two leads (i'm glad i predicted everything right lol) 😭💜💜 the only drama that saved me out my slump and gave me the brain worms this year... not an easy achievement! i will riot if i don't see this show getting at least ONE award at the sbs drama awards! i will also be thinking about kang bitna and han daon for the remainder of the year.
Is the romance in the room with us? There isn’t a single dedicated romantic scene between them. They develop…
the romance is very much in the room it's literally one of the main genres lol. just because a drama doesn't portray romance in the traditional way doesn't mean there isn't any in it. and there are a lot of dedicated romantic scenes between the leads here if you don't limit defining "romantic" in just the traditional romcom-sense. there is so much more to romantic writing than just dramatic confessions or skinship and this drama is full of it. a romantic arc not being the "main plot" or not "interfering with the storyline" doesn't mean that it's less important to the overall narrative or character arcs (especially here where it's basically the sole reason justitia even has character development).
the cast have all said they'd love to do one and the writer said once he considered it like 2 years ago but nothing was set in stone + he is writing other shows at the moment. i'm still hoping for it though 🤞
(case in point: the comment below LMAO)
