"mood swings" and the character in question is literally traumatized and has to deal with mental health issues and his best friend being murdered. this website is unbelievable lmfao

aside from the drama's direction, i think people who say this usually just don't vibe with the actors and don't know how to say it tbh. i've had it before with some couples that everyone loves but realized it was because one of the leads' acting style/the way they expressed emotions felt off to me, and this i think also has to do with how much emotional salience an actor's performance has to someone, which can be different from person to person.
or sometimes they simply just don't like the character/storyline/etc itself and instead express that with "they have no chemistry" when others are seeing it everywhere.

go kyung pyo? there better not be any romance cz istg this guy litr never has any chemistry with anyone and his…
i've only ever seen him in strongest delivery man and i thought the lead's chemistry was really good there. i think with cases like him it's all about who he is casted with and what type of character he's playing. i think he's a good actor.

Title Idol I Spoiler
My own personal prediction is that the intenal friction between the leads was resolved with the very very brief…
yeah i think you're right with the final battle ultimately being them against the prosecutor! though i could also see a possibility of someone finding out about their relationship and trying to blackmail them with it. but if anything they're gonna handle it and it won't be that big of an issue.

you're actually pointing out something i've been thinking about since the show started airing! wether raik will quit music or not. i have a bit of a theory.

(warning this is probably spoiler territory, i mention some BTS content from a scene not aired yet)

i follow some kim jae young fanaccounts, and during filming, there was an opportunity for people to show up at a stage performance as extras for a crowd. i saw some pics/videos of him performing raik's song "it's me" in a very different outfit that we haven't seen in the drama at all yet, which makes me wonder if this a scene that takes place at the end of the story, because right now he's still a murder suspect. i feel like rather than quitting completely, he will go "indie" or something and ends up still singing but with more control over his career and an overall healthier mind. the lyrics to his song always felt ironic to me, since the chorus is about "being fully yourself" but in truth he was miserable behind it all. i think if he performs it again at the end, it could be a nice full-circle moment where his character is completely in tune with the song.
edit: i think jaehee (and youngbin?) will be there too, i just looked at the performance again and i'm pretty sure i saw jaehee's actor behind the drums πŸ˜‚
