guys this is literally an editorial article and they've always existed on here and always reflect the authors subjective opinion.. they also have no say when it gets published so don't be conspiracy hungry 😠complaining about this is like reading a column in a newspaper, not agreeing with it and then calling the publisher to throw a fit about it lol. also so many of y'all really have not learned to engage (or NOT) engage civically with strong opinions you don't share. (gonna have a lil rant here lol. also prefacing this is just my view if you had problems w this drama thats cool i guess) it's still so weird to me how some are saying the pacing is flawed just because they didn't like either the teen's stories or the parents's stories... like it's almost as if there is so much focus on these parts because these are the main characters and they are showing us all the intricacies, small and big moments of their lives because the show get its themes across through them!! moving is really only a superhero show on the tin - but in reality a character drama about humanism, empathy, familial relationships, love, finding ones true place in life. the time spent on flashbacks and character study is neither wasted, nor disrupts the pacing because they are not secondary(!!!) to the action/superhero part of the show. they are there for a reason. without all that emotional weight and insight into the characters all this violence and fighting is simply vapid. that's why moving is such a great drama and was so successfull, because unlike a lot of ott moving actually strikes that balance between being both sensationalist and thematically dense. sure, you might've not liked how the closure was done or didn't like the interpersonal parts of the story as much and that's okay! but they are literally there on purpose and the story just does not work without them. feature not a bug. and i think we need to move on from viewing any and every part of a plot that focuses on building the characters and doesn't drastically drive the main-conflict forward as less than or as "filler" (no one ever knows what this word even means these days) or something that "interrupts" the 'main' story. no matter if you like it or not, yes, the characters having coffee and small talk and revealing their personal histories is just as important for the story as them fighting each other to the bone. who would've thought! idk man it's just so sad to me to see ppl not caring about any of this.. i think it must be partly because here it's done through non-linear storytelling (god forbid) and many don't do well with that but still, it's odd to me. it's what makes this drama and what makes it truly stand out

they really are! ever since moving's success they seem to be on a high and i hope that continues. they're terrible at marketing their shows but they gained a ton more subscribers since last year and are now casting a-listers left and right so they seem pretty confident
